The aim of the SmartStandBy project is to save electricity thanks to extension of standby mode or even switching off machining tool whenever appropriate without any impact on production rate and without any investment.
Thanks to the SmartStandBy project up to 40% of energy savings was made, with adequate standby mode during break time and switch-off during night or weekend breaks.
Project carried out in collaboration with CEA-List, CETIM, SAFRAN, STELLANTIS, SLB, Naval Group and iQuanto.

L’objectif du projet SmartStandBy est de générer des économies d’électricité grâce à des mises en veille appropriées ou à l’arrêt des centres d’usinage, sans impacter la production et sans nécessiter d’investissement.
Grâce au projet SmartStandBy jusqu’à 40% d’économie d’énergie a été réalisé avec l’utilisation accrue des mises en veille ou des mises à l’arrêt des machines hors fonctionnement en production.
