Learning to become a witness to the conversation you have going on in your head is crucial to understanding that life is just a game! Yes there are challenges, yes there are obstacles, and yes there are up and down moments but when you learn that you cannot beat a river into submission, and you learn to just flow with the river you will learn that your life takes on a whole new meaning of its own. Being the witness to the conversation going on in your head helps you understand that you truly have never been in control of ANYTHING in your life but the way you think, react and feel towards yourself and others. You have no control on what goes on outside of you and when you learn to control your inner being and be the witness to the role-playing game that is life you learn to flow with the current no matter what comes up.
