Zadra and Hyperion seem like the best one-two punch in the world. I’m excited to go here since my family visits Poland quite often, so I can’t wait to check out this place next time I visit. Hopefully international travel will be available soon.
One thing to add on the shuttle bus: I travelled from Katowice to Energylandia in August last year and be aware the official shuttle bus from Krakow ONLY accepts Polish bank accounts (through TPay) when reserving your seat online. Oddly, the shuttle bus from Katowice DOES accept U.K. bank cards (different operator I believe), so I strongly advise staying at Katowice if you’re not going to hire a car whilst out there.
Just like when I went to Amsterdam in 2017 I didn't go to Efteling and regretted it, I did the same thing with Energylandia when I went to Kraków in 2019... Really wish I'd of gone. Watching this video has giving me some good tips for when we do eventually go next year... Love these travel guides always so helpful
Another one added to the list. Sounds too good to miss. Such a great series of vlogs Shawn, but they give me such itchy feet; cannot wait for a theme park day.
Definitely going this year! Just checked the price for the 2 day ticket in 2023 (valid between April and June) and it’s around £62, so definitely still amazing price.
Thx! Ill use this when I go to Energylandia next year for my bday! Btw Energylandia needs a B&M coaster, specially a hyper because ''You can't go wrong with a B&M Hyper'' - Theme Park Crazy
They already do have a hyper thanks to Intamin (even though it's a mega coaster model, but it is above 200ft), and I've heard that it is a really good one anyway.
Hi Shawn, you may already seen this, but Thorpe Park have stated on their website "Our doors will re-open 27th March 2021, subject to Government guidance in response to the COVID-19 pandemic" - that's word for word what they said! Great video by the way!
For Polish standards, Energylandia is actually still quite an expense of a trip, though our wages are here to blame more than anything. In terms of accommodation, I absolutely recommend "Tanie Spanie" in Przeciszów. It may even be the best value accommodation in Poland as a whole, while not sacrificing cleanliness. However, despite not being too far, there isn't any foot path to the park from this village, so you may want to grab a car, if you don't want to walk along the road. As for questions, could you make a travel guide to Alton Towers or other UK parks for non-UK viewers? Because it's not really clear how to get to them (but Alton in particular) if you want to travel there from abroad.
We caught the once daily train when we visited last August. I wouldn't recommend it. Although it was cheaper it took longer than the coach, had no air conditioning, arrived an hour before the park opened and left an hour before the park closed. Zator station isn't really what I would call a train station either.
Will it be good if you want to explore Krakow in another day to stay at a hotel in Krakow as I would like to visit when all of this Covid stuff is over
When I tried to go to Energylandia last October I tried to book the shuttle bus online but I couldn't using a UK bank card for the shuttle bus. I emailed energylandia and they said it had to be a polish bank account to book. You can book park tickets no problems with a foreign card but not the bus. luckily I was in Krakow in September so I managed to book the bus tickets at the bus station for October. The worry is if you try book the bus on the day it been full as they only seem to run 1 50 seater bus. When I went in 2019 the energylandia bus was booked up but Leo Express were providing a bus link that went to Czech Republic that stopped at Energylandia. when I looked last year it didn't seem to be running maybe covid but I could book that on the Leo Express websits. Sadly the trip in October was cancelled thanks to the government shoving Poland on the qurenteen list hopefully 2021.
Driving in Poland on the Motorways is awesome. They are BRAND new and smooth no pot holes like in the UK 😂. Some of the country roads can get a bit rough like anywhere but in general all around Energylandia they are great. Just beware ; some drivers can be a bit crazy and police have zero tolerance on Drink Driving - you have to blow ZERO if you get stopped so not too many beers in the park.
as i have done this a few times driven from uk around europe i learned the hard way that you always need to keep all driving documents on you not like the UK. was fined £20 (100zl)
@@Wiiue really? From what I know they can't actually legally give you an on the spot fine,as you don't have a residential address in the country. I lived there for 6 years and got out many a ticket but dropping that bombshell on them and speaking very quickly in my strong British accent. It freaks them out and they leave you alone 😂
It looks like you had a lot of B-roll for western Camp. Did you have to ask for that or is all of that available somewhere? I'd like to learn more abut it.
Hey Shawn, am heading off to Energylandia later this year with my partner. Was wondering what did you do for food in the evening? Did you try any local restaurants and if so any recommendations?
Is Energylandia more of a themed park or an amusement park? I really want to visit along with Phantasialand and Europa Park. Also, how good are the operations? Are the queues big?
When travelling from the UK where did you exchange money and did you need to get a visa to visit Poland or Germany - or because it’s less than 90 days that you’ll be there, was a passport enough?
In Poland you can use a debit or credit card and you can pay with the card both in PLN and British Pound Sterling. If you need Polish currency PLN (Polish zloty), you can exchange British Pound in your local big TESCO store. British citizens do not need a visa to enter Poland or Germany but a passport is required. ☝️
Hey, I know this video is old and I've seen the newest vlog to this park but just had a question, do you know if energylandia offer any kind of ride access pass? My autistic kids want to visit and think it will be perfect as they struggle with a whole day in a theme park but will be happy at the water park in the afternoons but worried about them queuing
When u mentioned legendia theme park as well when u was on your trip to energylandia did u ever get a Uber from western hotel to legendia. If you did do u know roughly how much it cost🙂
How easy is it to get to Energylandia from Krakow? Going in August 2024 and I really want to visit, but we’re not hiring a car. Would a private hire taxi get us there and back do you think?
@@ThemeParkWorldwide Appreciate this! I continued watching and saw you had mentioned taxis (whoops) but knowing Uber is pretty reliable is a huge relief. My issue was less getting to the park, just making sure we didn’t get stranded there on the way back!
Hi Shawn sorry if I spelled your name wrong but anyway like what’s your favourite ride at Southend adventure island I love rage I am only 10 but I think it is so scary on the loop but yea
Checking flight prices for myself wife and two kids... They are around 130 quid each Mon- Wed in the start of June. Quite expensive when we can get to Blackpool and back for 60 quid petrol... How im i going to convince the wife who doesnt really enjoy theme parks 🤔
17:00 Quite hard to conciliate "brilliant" and Vekoma in my mind but I'll trust your judgement! Heard that they improved their coasters, I'll have to try some newer ones.
@@willshimmons6516 No I haven't or I might have thought they were from Intamin. But I remember needing a chiropractor every time after riding a Vekoma. I'll look for new ones on RU-vid.
I’ve been going to thorpe park for 5 years and I had always put off riding Saw the ride and Stealth and I’m an enthusiast. One day when I went I didn’t think about it and just got on Saw. I was so nervous but I knew if I didn’t like it I wouldn’t have to do it again. Later on in the day, my friend got me on stealth. If you’d had told me in the morning I would’ve gone on stealth I wouldn’t have believed you but after that, I’ve ridden stealth over and over and I’m so happy
@@austingregory4259 the definition of enthusiast is to be interested in a subject and I know lots of knowledge about roller coasters like the manufacturers and more so if it’s something I’m interested in I’m basically an enthusiast
I'm watching in 2030 they built a hotel 30 new coasters and London resort is built and Blackpool is looking like last Vegas I hope u married Charlotte yet lol xxx
@@goodtaste4 oh so you think it's a good thing to not even mention it because he's not a political channel? you do realize that you can get arrested in Poland just for bein part of the LGBTQ community
@@ThemeParkWorldwide energylandia say homophobia is prohibited in their park. I don’t support of Poland’s politics however as a tourist you should be good to go
