I know this is an old vid but I just got this case for free and am now working on getting it up and running. Are the HDD rails standard or do I need to find them somewhere? This one came with no drives.
Please tell me what brand of Memory Sticks did u install.....I LOVE the Blue/white twinkle....and I will be building a Blue Ostrag ADV setup pretty soon....TKS
I'm in the middle of a build with this case, and I can't find the usb and power button cables from the top? It should be an 8 pin socket, but I can't find it. Any help?
It has to be somewhere on the motherboard, look at your manual or look it up. Also just fyi there's always at least one pin missing from the plug and socket, you can use that to identify where it goes.
hey. can you plee(..)as tell me where the big black cable from the frontpanel goes to? i dont get any place where he could fit on the mainboard. (my motherboard ist an asrock 990fx extreme3)
I have this case, I tightened down 1 screw to the motherboard, lifted the board up, slipped the 8 pin cpu power over, plugged it in, then tightened down the motherboard all the way and was still able to pull the excess cable back behind the motherboard. The hole is not useless at all.
I stopped listening after the whining about the CPU power hole on top. *You need to install your PSU first*. Pull the power cable through the hole and only then install the motherboard. How hard is that to understand?
He doesn't mean large hole at the back of CPU fan back plate, it's a little one next to it, in the top left corner of the motherboard tray. See thinkcomputers1 review of this case in 5:30 min
There is a way to snake the cpu power cable through the hole that's covered by the mobo, you first install the PS, then you snake the cable through the open hole and then lay and secure the mobo over the cable with the connector stretched out of the way past the board. The board will slightly flatten the cable/mesh, but it's not so thick that it will bow the mobo. You're welcome!
Funny how I built a PC with the Enermax Ostrog regular case, and my Gigabyte GA-Z97X-HD3H didn't cover the CPU power cable. Maybe the regular case is smarter designed.
great/amazing case for the price, i could easily fit 2 r9 290's from gigabyte, even the tri-x would fit with no problem, also the hyper 212 evo fits flawlessly.
