Thanks for the recipe!! Love it! But when I did it, it was a bit hard for the flour to emulsify in the milk... It just became some small pieces. Wondering what could be the reason...
Make sure to fry the flour long enough in the butter first. Using a smaller pot can help here since the amount of butter and flour is very little. Afterwards add the milk little by little, like this the flour/butter mix (which is also called 'roux') will not form small pieces. Another tip is to use hot milk straight away (heat in a small pot or microwave). Using hot milk will also help against small lumps. Last but not least, make sure you cook everything long enough and stir very well with a spatula.
