The Untamed is like the best asian drama I've seen in my entire life. Like, the love is very slow (in my opinion) but like they have lots and lots of moments that they share together and you can literally see that they are changing, not by theirselves, but together as a whole. They change in both good and bad like a normal couple would be, but in the end, they would try to make up amd forgive each other. The looks they give each other are so secretive, yet they give off signs like: "Tell me. I need to know in order to help you, please." "I can't let you interfere with my business. It will make everything worse. For you, for me." They both care about each other and the other people know it because of how close they are. I wish they wouldn't leave off on a cliffhanger 😭😭 it hurts so bad but the Untamed is my no.1 recommend asian drama 💕

i watched 150+ dramas in the pastt few years (i made a spreadsheet to share friends list of drama recommendations and was surprised too). but untamed is the only one that made me watch 8 times but still find new interesting things. wangxian is truly unlike otther couples. most dramas force upon the main leads a reason to be together like "love at first sight", "our powers are meant for each other", blah blah, but wangxian is nott perfect, yet they grow together and make each other better. like what xiaozhan (actor of xianxian) said, love and fulfillment is the power to grow with each other

Evin Rud the interesting thing that makes wangxian more meaningful and have more layers than other relationships is that lanzhan didn’t 100% trust Weiying when Weiying first came back from burial grounds. Trust have many sides! Lanzhan trusted Weiying is an upright person but did not trust that Weiying will NOT lose control. And this is partially why lanzhan regretted so much for 16 years

Evin Rud just like when lanzhan first went to Wens (with jiangcheng), lanzhan always believed that Weiying is capable of surviving. But “hope” also make people more painful - just think “hope tomorrow I can see you” but then tomorrow you are not there

@@docdeepwater3729 忘羡跟其他电视剧中cp的不同处之一就是两人并不是“天生就注定在一起”。忘羡二人以及忘羡感情也有瑕疵。魏婴不是传统的英雄，他也做错了事。蓝湛也不是爱情脑，魏婴刚从乱葬岗回来时蓝湛没有完全相信魏婴。忘羡感情有瑕疵但一起成长。肖战（魏无羡的演员）说满足就是成长的力量。忘羡给予了对方成长的力量所以有了对方就满足了！希望我们也能遇见这样的知己！

@@sushiNbear 我喜欢《陈情令》这部剧的原因，是因为我真的被魏无羡和蓝忘机的友情给怔服了。本来两个性格完全相反的人，是很难融到一起，但是他们都一样的心地善良，嫉恶如仇，不忘初心。这些共同点让他们不但成为朋友，而且还产生了深厚的友情。人生中，最难得是有个好朋友。能成为知己更是难得。谨记在心：千万不要错过与你交心的知己。希望大家都好好过吧！

they cared for each other so much, they simply cld not stay mad at each other for long... this scene where wy chased lz to make up for thinking the worst of him when he saw lz talking with his sect-sis and lz, who must have felt so sad and hopeless and wronged, turned and attacked was really dramatic. awesome projections of the characters inner turmoil by both xz and yb, if you ask me. i think they literally dragged us audience in their swings of emotions. at least, they did me. i phewed aloud when bichen stopped a breath away from wy's adams apple.

@@tasnimuddin902, yes sad as well as very distressed because all the wrong turns looked like they're damaging their relationship, if not their love. i had a minor relief when wy quickly chased lz to correct his wrong, but my heart jumped into my mouth again when lz unsheathed, turned and lunged. but the catharsis when the blade stopped at wy's throat was worth every palpitation! 🥰

Can you imagine palying a character; knowing your acting as lover but have to convey it as a bromance . They get married and adopt Lan Siz Hui (Lan Yuan). They did a great job portraying their character and it came out flawlessly. You can feel/see the emotions and how they feels bout eachother through their roles Xiao Zhan as Wei Ying Wang Yibo as Lan Zhan They have a really close relationship despite the 7 year age gap, they bicker liek 2 kids and they do act very similar to their character. Both are very talkative, they tease eachother and play fight a lot; but they still give eachother compliments and defend eachother from comments. They do share a lot of that on screen chemistry in screen , if I do say so. Sean Xiao is 28 Yibo is 22 They eyes and facial expressions convey all the feelings that words cannot. You can see how much LZ loves WY even though they don't say it

Just an observation but I don't think the smile at 3.17 was intended. Considering Lan Zhan's emotions of seeing Wei Ying well and alive after knowing he was thrown into the Burial Mounds, the smile doesn't seem like a characteristic response of Lan Wangji. It looks more like an upturned smile, a smirk, quite possibly an unplanned reaction of Wang Yibo to whatever Xiao Zhan did (considering their relationship behind the scenes, this is highly plausible) before Wang Yibo caught himself and returned to Lan Wangji. The editing team probably overlooked it, since it was only for a second.

Yeah in one of the interviews they said that in that scene they simply could not stop laughing about something and Yibo kept breaking character. They finally ended up shooting that scene with that small shot of Yibo smiling, he was trying not to. This was the scene that Wang Zhuocheng mentioned led to the “Gege Loves you” group chat 🤣🤣🤣

Manisha Jain I made one before actually using my own footages I got when I went to Untamed concert! But sadly youtube system had glitch and accidentally deleted all my videos. I will make them again! Song is called #不忘 (never forget is correct); it’s literally so beautiful! Also shows how Chinese lyrics is really poetic. Xiaozhan’s #曲尽陈情 is also a very nice song. Both songs depict Wang Xian’s love for each other

Dayanna Leong lanzhan raises A-yuan because Weiying really like A-yuan. lanzhan was also “mistaken” to be A-yuan’s dad & Weiying was like “I give birth to this child” (haha hinting that lanzhan is the dad and Weiying is the mom?). A-yuan’s name that lanzhan later gave him is Lan SiZhui. SiZhui (思追）is combination of words “思君可追” (chase after the precious person if I want). It can also mean ”思君不可追” (cannot chase after the previous one even if I want) during the 16 years that lanzhan waited for Weiying. There is also a famous phrase “君子如兰，思君可追”。 ”如兰” (RuLan) is jinlin’s big name. When Weiying names Jinlin this, jiangcheng was like “no this sounds like lanzhan’s lan). It’s cute that lanzhan names sizhui something that comes with the name that Weiying created
