See, this is news worthy. These are the stories people need to hear about. To be reminded that there are still good people in the world. This is a worth watching series.
I don’t think it’s just newsworthy some of the stories actually happened in real life because I feel like the goal was to make the audience cry especially because there were a couple stories that might sound familiar to people. The earthquake story lines with the Sichuan earthquake in 2008, I’m pretty a lot of healthcare workers, firefighters, and police from all over the country went to Sichuan just to help. One of the nurses in the drama broke down because I think her family is from Sichuan or something, people from everywhere sending food/water, the emotions the doctors and nurses had to endure, etc. The Sichuan earthquake everyone heard about it and cried, people that could go went to Tiananmen just yelled “四川加油/Sichuan, come on” and went on the news it was just very moving, healthcare workers being welcomed back home I don’t think that was in the drama. The story in this video is also true.
This is actually an imitation of a real life story that happened in China few years ago. The drugs used were atropine and the package for each bottle of the drug was 0.5mg/ml. The patient was in a critical condition due to toxicity which made the patient required 400mg per hour to detoxify. Therefore , the healthcare team (consist of 8 doctors and nurses) have to continuous inject atropine to the patient. They used about 8k bottles of atropine for that patient within a day. Luckily the patient was saved in the end.
