I remember her from K-Pop Star. She was a really good dancer for her age, didn't expect she can sing like this too. "Star" is also my favorite song from Jessi so I'm always happy when I get to hear it.
right, her mannerism while performing and even her style of singing reminds me of CL. I know CL isn't with YG anymore but her mannerism similar to GD is used as the blueprint for their artist.
AGREE That’s the first person I thought of right when she started rapping 😍 I’m sure Blackpink and Jennie has become a lot of the girls’ role models (after watching the other girls HYLT) performance 👍🏻✊🏻 but this little girl’s got the potential to create her own persona as she gains more experiences and mature into her own identity. Looking forward to it 💗💗💗
She trained in YG for years. YG is really good at honing their trainees’ skills. If u watched yg survival shows, the way yg gives constructive criticism to his trainees is savage af. It’s survival of the fittest at yg’s dungeon. Sadly, she already left yg. Apparently, yg already have the final line up to their new gg debuting next year
Dude YG really trains their artists well she’s so talented and really has that YG style even though she left, really hope she can debut! Hanbyeol fighting!
Even if you didn't know she was in YG, the moment she rapped, you could tell immediately YG trained her. She has the same vibe as Moon Sua and Jinny. I understand why she left YG tho. YG trainees spend some of the most time in the incubator. It's tiresome and the light at the end of the tunnel is very vague. But at the same time I understand why YG didn't debut her right away. She has the skills and potential, but she started really young and needed time to polish. I think she's ready for a debut, but not for a YG debut. The fact that she left 6 months ago confirms YG's next girl group lineup is set and the debut is actually happening (but it's YG, you can still expect a delay). Usually trainees leave after the lineup has been set.
But in YG, if you get into the certain level then you can debut. If she left by her own not by kicked out, it means either she didn’t get to the final YGNGG line-up or she didn’t feel that she have that YG vibe (like “what am i doing in here” or “this is not the style that i want”). If she is kicked out, it means she lacks motivation and improvement or disobeys the rules.
"the fact that she left 6 months ago confirms YG's next gir group line up" how? i never heard news about them having ngg 😮 Winner and Ikon 😭😭😭 can they just focus on these groups first 🤦
@@mr.a9696 there is a leaked dancing video of team b trainees that has left yg if im not wrong, the girls are insanely talented. We know big companies tend to ignore their old group after they debuted a new group (sm with their ggs, yg with all their groups ggs/bgs)
@@131gang9 i know even JYP mistreats Got7... i am still waiting for Seungyoon's solo or just a comeback for Winner 😞 and now they are planning to debut another one 😟😩
@@mr.a9696 I think got7 still has constant comebacks like twice this year alone plus some members are pushing individual activities too but all big3 really suck at promoting. In other hand yge is really ignorant af look at ikon, so silent no individual job too (i just have no hope anymore for their career under yg). 2/4 of winner in army so its understandable the group in hiatus, mino just had his second solo album tho. I’m waiting for ksy solo too but he is in drama right? Tbh i want rose solo to release soon like yes bp is busy this year but they have so lil songs, yg plan to debut the new gg needs to delay like 2/3 years till bp has another full album and all members get their solo (i am not blink but they are the most succesful group in yg rn so they deserved it)
Why no one talk about Jessi getting emotional after hearing this girl singing? I was shedding tears when I saw Jessi's face. She had been through a lot to become her now.
@@blinkherehylt2316 She get eliminated on the 2nd round because she lacked vocal skill. You can watch Cap-Teen episode on Dramacool.so they already upload 6 episode.
She is still really young. Unlike many other companies, yg is never in a rush to debut artists. They rarely debut female artists under 17 unless they are recognised to be predicted as top of the industry (ie Minzy, Lee Hi, Akmu's Soohyun). No doubt, she is talented as hell, but they were probably still trying to discover something special within her. There is something there, even I can see it, but it needs time. She definitely has the yg swag which is so cool! And I am sad she left because there was so much potential. But I am wishing her all the best and I hope this programme will help her with her confidence on stage and groom her into a great star ^^
Being trained in yg is a god gift....yg literally make a normal girl or boy an artist....I know she is not in yg anymore but she still has that training from yg which will make her touch the sky
This ain't a gift. Those people have to train more than 12 hours a day and only have 6 hours slapping. They are put into a competion and if they fall then Yg tell them to get out. The kpop industry isn't human
You can really see why she was a trainee from Yge and she's a big lost for them. They trained her so well coz she looks really natural on stage yg vibe ended.I hope she gets to debut real soon no matter where or what company coz she's such a real talent !!!
she is not the only talented girl inside YG and we never know what talent the other girls from YG dungeon could bring next year..... she said in the interview that she felt that YG doesn't care about her nor his talent but its the same with other trainees too... its a fierce battle inside YG so she need to beat all of them for her to debut... and that what makes YGA strong. 😊
@@just_keni214 true and once she achieved the ultimate goal by defeating those other trainee she will be rich and more famous even as a rookie just like other yg new artist. You just have to have a lot of patience and perseverance though coz not I'm sorry but YGE is not for those people who doesn't have that type of attitude.
YG trainees are good at bringing out emotions because that's what their music is about. YG style of singing is soulful and rapping is with charisma and emotion that's also why they naturally have good facial expressions without practicing because they already have the feeling. Also another reason why most of their artists are INFP or ENFP personalities because those are the ones that succeed in YG style music being able to relate to others. Even their dancing has to be what YG calls" dancing deliciously" and ""as smooth as water" which is different from other K-pop groups who follow SM style because they were the foundation to K-pop. It's also the reason why when ex YG trainees goes to survival shows they tend to not be first place because their style is very unique to the normal k-pop training method. But with P-Nation I think Hanbyul and other YG Trainees can go there. PSY really likes that style of trainee especially IKON so I'm thinking the first P-Nation boy group is gonna be similar to IKON.
I didn’t even know what this video was about I accidentally clicked. Then I saw Jessi so I stayed. THEN the girl she started to sing it interested me. Then she rapped and I was like woahh I didn’t know she was gonna rap. Who ever she is I really hope she’s debuts she deserves it!! :)
These yg vibes of her personality. I saw yoshi, hyunsuk, jennie, lisa and other artist the way she raps and sing and the gestures too, IS REALLY A YG STYLE. Im so sad that she's not make it in the line up of YGNGG. Shes talented and beautiful , she doesnt lacked. Shes perfect damn
Hanbyeol is a rising star.. She was and still, she trained in yg and found herself loved how she gained more confidence in helfself and her tone and now Rap as well.. Excellent job Hanbyeol you improved in many aspects.. Support you❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@itssondos2923 "Han Byul went on to say that despite training for so long, she “couldn’t debut right away“. After some time, she found herself feeling dejected and aimless while she practiced." taken from Koreaboo. She frustrated actually because after 3 years she still can't debut
@@azimembong2606 it ain't an easy task and people endurance is different.. Maybe she was too pressured.. No one knows.. We cam only support her and wait😊
Her voice is cool and not trying hard because she can actually sing. She'll improve more, just keep practicing, there's a rasp on her voice. I hope she continues to find her own style. She's easy to watch, and very natural on stage. Fighting!
YG vibes still in her 🙂 she reminds me of Jennie, her gesture and rap style. I can see Jessi 1:20 was very touched of hanbyul performing her song so good.
@@imandreyayeyiyoyu727 CL raps the same too just more aggressively lol jennie, euna kim, the two from Produce 48, and Sua all rap almost identically, CL was like the prototype
Jessi is so sweet! When she got emotional I really couldn't hold it together, I wish more people would see her past her badass image, she has a beautiful personality ❤
She has YG vibes fr and could rap like jennie in her age, imagine her being patience on YG , i believe she could make her debut in 5 years or less... truly she's really skillful, i bet she could more great in 5 years or more.
Yg trained their trainee well. When she was in kpopstars, her strength relies on her dancing only not her singing, in fact, singing is the one her weakness but now her singing become more better. I can see why yg put her on rap line because boy, her rap flow is good. Even if she couldn't make into the yg debut line, many company will take her.
YG really trains their artists so well, they give them sustainability and their needs. They don't lack food, money and shelter because YG really looks after their artists. The only thing is, you need patience the moment you enter YG. Because they don't debut artists who are not that ready. KPOP world is a lot different the moment you become an idol.
So many people said that she couldn’t sing. In my opinion i think she really good at rapping and singing in english but when she’s singing to korean sometimes it just doesn’t sound good esp with the high notes. She really knows what she wants to do. She literally can do everything but i can feel that she feels insecure and down day by day😔😔
@@crystal.crystal4681 her talent is on another level so Let her choose what she wants to..As a fan I also would be happy to see her in high..lets not argue over this We R Both fans so we shouldnt fight, ☺
I still think YG's training is the best among the big 3. Most of the ex yg trainees gets the main vocal, main rapper, main dancer and leader position when they debuted. YG artist and trainees are all ace
Wow it’s crazy how you can tell the different in rappers of the companies. You can tell right away she trained at yg. She sounds good singing in her tone.
I loved her stage presence and dancing when I first saw her in K-Popstar 6 but her singing has really improved so much since then. It is so full of emotion and good sound, I really hope she will be able to debut and that she'll be happy and successful because she truly deserves it and I am rooting for her.
Solo activity is just perfect for her. She is a completely unique and individual person who immediately stands out from the rest. I hope the new company will finally give her the opportunity to debut.
