Man, this season is cool. New builds, new players making it on and a gaggle of upsets. And paired with the great presentation, I could not enjoy this more. Thanks mates!
@OhmW 32:42 -- Yeah - sOs smiled and I even noticed it - but that was after the first game - not a lost match yet. Maybe he was just smiling to himself to try to psyche himself up for the second match.. Like "I did some mistakes but I sure CAN win against this guy.." .. Also I recall reading that Japanese customarily smile while telling bad news to not make the hearer of the news unhappy by seeing a sad face.. We can speculate but it's really not easy to be sure what a face expression from somebody from another vulture means and it might be easy to misread.
el mejor video de todos los tiempos, gracias special, juan tena lopez, rezo por ti para que logres lo mas que puedas, y te seguire hasta que te retires, saludos desde monterrey nuevo leon
They are going to need a new expansion for this game....that or just big changes once every couple years like the ones we've been seeing the last couple years....thus game sure is something special though....so is Broodwar but man....keep this genre around forever and ever evolving please.
@@Joseph-nx5gv Yes, thats exactly what happened, but I still found it funny and I did 'WTF' initially and had to have a second (and third) look to make sure.
TY had virtually no army left. Like a tiny handful of marauders at the Protoss 3rd base, economy at home devastated and basically no detection left vs the DTs.
When 1 SCV spends 1 second standing still without any commands, which means idling, this adds one second to the total idle time. 10 SCV's spending 1 second like this is ten seconds of total idle time. It's natural for the Terran to have a slightly higher idle time than Zerg/Protoss due to the way buildings are constructed, as sometimes you want your SCV to wait near the building it just finished constructing, but probably not 1000 seconds more at this stage of the game. Considering an SCV gathers about 40 resources per minute (if it's not the third+ SCV on the same patch), his idle time of over 1000 translates to about 500-700 minerals he missed out on, which is why it was notable.
XxILikePie03 lost all of his army in the process, only a few maraders left. Couldn’t shut the third base down, so ultimately was in a few bad position despite winning the engagement
I think this is normal for GSL, but it seems it suits more people. I find it hard to watch WCS, since it is too dark to watch in very sunny room and I end up squinting at monitor :)
Tasteless keep saying that blink stalkers punishes terran because they are greedy, meanwhile the terran had 1-1-1 with tanks, marines and bunkers while having no e-bays, no third CC and no stim research. Literally the least greedy you can be in a TvP.
Kind of like how one high templar counters 30 army supply of bio... or vikings... Oh wait, except that the templar actually kills those units while the raven only briefly disables the colossi without harming them at all. #balance indeed
@@Razzy1322 Look, I play Zerg anyhow but watching the series no protoss was able to snipe the raven even having blink stalker option available so I assume the distance at which you can cast the disable spell is quite big. Also oh wait, disabling 3 colossus vs. stim bio on equal game = death for all the other protoss units and then when disable finishes there is nothing to tank for them so they die as well as they cannot escape being super slow unit. So yeah, it is basically killing entire army :P Storm is pretty unbalanced up as well but one or 2 storms does not kill your units if you move away from the effect area.
SOS vs Special was hilarious. SPOILERS: SOS obviously did not respect Special at all. Blinking into his army in game 1 as if to say "are you really trying to attack ME, foreigner?" - keeping the smug smile on even after losing - then going immediately for a rush in game 2 to establish his "dominance" again. He kinda deserved that loss, didn't he?
SoS always smile after losing. He is just upbeat person. Also he is rich and two times world champion, so I guess that loses don't feel that bad anyways.
Maybe you can limit the number of SCVs that can repair at the same time. I'm not even close to an expert at the game, but I think that removing the early game bunker repair from Terrans would leave them vulnerable to all sorts of rushes.
