i really don’t understand why people criticize this drama so negatively? is it because netizens believe comparison is the only way to justify and validate everything nowadays? this drama has it ALL: extremely talented cast, beautiful visuals, ethereal soundtrack and an amazing plot. it’s not like every other “typical” kdrama. it’s so well thought out and makes you think. instead of following a basic, “cliché” storyline, it has you clinging to your seat, thinking about what’s going to happen next. i honestly don’t know what’s there to negatively critic about it? nowadays, people just care about how pretty or not the cast is, smh. djdj anyways, this video was so beautiful !! it really captured the longing the two have for each other 🥺♥️
Agree with you on almost all grounds. The only thing I can complaint about is how there are wayyy too many lose ends, left to solve for later on. I am sure Kim Eun Suk will join the dots in the end but somehow the confusion is becoming larger than curiosity. Upon that, we have back and forth closing and opening of the episodes, the non-linear pattern... which is creative but too complicated for an already complicated plot.
Perhaps preferences. Sci fi parallel universes v extramarital themes. Can't compare apples and oranges. The former is both watching and reading a story, it's not spoon-feeding, thinking and reading references to understand it better, lots of symbolisms, metaphors, it's also like quilt making or weaving when you have to connect scenes and episodes, much more unlike the other one that it's all there to see, easier to understand. The process though is comparable. Different genres. There may be rabid fans who got stuck with their previous screen roles and don't want them to grow in their craft. Expectations too like very categorical scenes, usual romance. The love story in TKEM is unusually portrayed, they have upped the level anchored on their characters' context/background. Sci fi series are not easy to evaluate by the 1-2 episode like what bloggers, commenters are doing. It's a preconceived and unfair method. So let's not just mind them. It's a global drama that connects different people's of the world beyond SK and there are so many narratives being born from it, spawns creativity and moves peoples' hearts. That to me matters more.
Richa Batheja i agree with you! but i like the fact that this drama makes you think, it has you connected with the plot and it causes for you to think about it all the time! hopefully we get all the answers at the end of the season.

Every word now makes sense with how the story has unfold. Eps.1 is their future where LG came to her on Maximus ! And he has to rekindle their love & relationship bcos he comes with information about their love story and he knows that he just has to persist in his pursue of her and she will come around. This tie in with the scene where JTE declares her Love asking LG why he loves even tho she treated him badly, and he replied "Bcos I have an understanding, and with that understanding I love you". I think this is a bit like Goblin where KS saw his future flashed thru ET's eyes when they first met in that umbrella/rain scene where they walked past locking eyes. LG has to keep going thru time loops to find JTE at the right moment for their Love to be at the right moment for them where they can live it.......
All of This drama OSTs are so good but this OST just kills me..the lyrics tells their story..I only hope them be together and have happy ending..I have a feeling that its gonna be sad but still I want them to be happy together..This drama and their acting and chemistry and cinematography..chef's kiss*..Feeling sad just thinking that only 4 episodes are left
