The euro civic of this generation has stood exceptionally well against time and my bet is that the type R FN2 will be the sought after classic for the next 20 years. I think the car his styling was a bit the same story as the 80s Ford Sierra (XR4i): radical when it was released but as the years come by, many of the initial haters start to appreciate it. It gives the car so much personality.

That FN2 what a class shaped car with super handling and peach of an engine, that car has everything..

In my mid 30's and having had an STI and jdm DC2 I am over the huge wings....unless its on a real OEM semi-exotic like a Porsche. To make a long story short I could have gone Evo VIII or FN2....but for a more relaxed and high quality experience I went FN2 as a daily driver and that thing suits me just right. Reliable, well mannered, surprisingly comfortable in traffic and happy one a freeway blast. EP3 looked like a bread van and FD2 was just over priced given what I could get for that money (330i, 130i, R33 GTR, DC5 and the list goes on). Back in a Honda and being worry free is a sweet feeling. FN2's are sexier in person as well...especially with a GP front splitter (mine came with one WOOT) /rant

The FN2 was created to fight vs european rivals, not to be compared to other Type R's, is a comfotable hot hatch for daily life. You cannot drive daily a DC2 to work, or your back will pain.

Fn2 is nice car really don't understand why people hate it,that drive couple times? There is no big difference comparing with fd2,fd2 have 222bhp and does 0-60 in 6sec,fn2 have 198bhp and does 0-60 in 6.5 sec so comparing by horses if fn2 had the same amount would be quicker when fd2,would go for fn2 coz I really like how it looks like and especially when it's mugen fn2

......I will hold on to and never sell my Integra DC2 Type-R!.......(The only REAL Type R that made it to europe ).........

I have this FN2, and yes its probably the worst typeR out there, rear suspension, weak brakes, not the most powered K engine... But im a drummer and I can fit all my drum set in the trunk without having to move the rear seats forward! :D plus its the latest N/A typeR!

why is the fn2 heavier than the fd2 when it's a smaller car riding on a chassis designed for the fit/jazz? where is the placement of that "extra" weight of the fn2 attributable to ?
