I'm still dumbfounded by the fact that this *isn't* an actual Red Army song. Like sure, the lyrics give it away immediately to a native speaker, but holy hell the instrumentation and arrangement and the overall vibe of this song are really on point.
If you want to hear the real march of the Red army. There is not a word about conquest, there is about honor about family. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ckXVbH2YlMM.html
I am American but am not bitter about Vietnam, it is a great nation, and the Soviet Union while an ideological enemy of the us had a rich culture. Side note:pho is very delicious
I am czech, and soviets invaded my country and set authoritative regime for next 30 years. Theyre same as nazis. Only reason why they would help your country is to expand their influence into whole asia. We never forget
In Soviet union, the FBI don't watch you, YOU watch FBI In Soviet union, human don't die from bear, bear die from human In Soviet union, casualties not isn't fun, fun is casualties In Soviet union, you don't eat food, food eat you In Soviet union, rats doesn't creep you, you creep rats
You re know kiristina pimenova!? Kiristina pimenova problems of America and Europe!!! Kristina Pimenova She is a Russian girl who will compete with the world, it is not easy to beat her!! Kristina Pimenova of the new USSR
All video frames are taken from the popular program Serving the Soviet Union, which airs on Soviet TV once a week and popularizes military service. Some footage is taken from the holiday broadcast on November 7, 1980, dedicated to the Great October Revolution. It is likely that the General Secretary of the CPSU L.I. Brezhnev is present on Red Square during this parade.
Watching this I can't imagine how it must've felt to live in eastern europe during the cold war. Imagine seeing those marches on the TV during victory day

@@shiyano как бы там ни было, мне не понять смысла фразы "к Неве на Восток", это глупо, ведь к Востоку от Невы должен быть СССР, по логике на Запад должны двигаться..

It's both embarrassing and somewhat absurd to observe how Russians celebrate their victory in World War II considering that it was Soviet Union (with Germany) who started the war by invasion to Poland in 1939 (and I am not mentioning invasion to Finland 3 months later!)
It's also embarrassing, that UK and France even allowed Hitler to raise power. And, btw, soviets invaded Poland after the whole polish army was destroyed, so, technically it was only Germans, who started war
@@nikmikh8547 well, but after invasion to Poland both UK and France started war with Germany. And Soviets? instead of fighting with Nazi they aggressively invaded Poland and Finland etc, while still providing support to Hitler, that is "a bit" difference between USSR and the West, dont?
I'm a Russian. And I have to admit, until my dad told me that this was from Red Alert (I didn't know the lyrics), I was genuinely convinced this was one of the genuine march songs USSR had. I'm 30 years old. What I mean to say is I admire how incredibly well developers/composers maintained the music style of classic USSR march songs. Now that I'm hearing this song for the first time (I didn't play RA 3), I'm rolling laughing because of the lyrics. What a masterpiece.
