Perfect tutorial! I've seen lots of girls do a waves tutorial with regular curls and then brush it out with a comb and it magically looks like waves for them... mine always continued to look like unnatural curls. Can't wait to try this!

anyone thinks her hair already looks smooth and pretty before even doing all that? my hair is frizzy and gets damaged by heat easily so have no idea how to style it

maybe try turning the heat down a bit because you can always curl twice if its not strong enough. my hair is frizzy so to curl i usually blow dry and then curl to help with the frizz and curls.

Have you heard about the Curly Girl Method? If you have frizz, that usually means you have some kind of natural pattern in your hair, (waves, curls, etc). CGM is basically a guide to reducing the frizz and encouraging your natural pattern and all that.

I would also suggest using keratin shampoo and conditioner. It helps with the frizz by a lot. The best ones would be getting salon grade ones. The ones I use are awapuhi. This is not a common one. You would have to get it from a licensed hair stylist (they buy it from beauty stores for way less) except this brand is semi expensive. $30 per bottle. $60 for both shampoo and conditioner. Theyre both a liter. You dont need a lot tbh.

my hair naturally does the wave thing at the bottom, but the top of my hair is frizzy :( Instead of the goddess look I look like a banshee. :(

언니랑 비슷한 기장의 앞머리가 있는데, 앞머리 뿌리는 알려주신대로 잘 살릴 수 있게됐어요. 근데 뿌리 아랫머리는 옆에서 봤을 때 이마에 착 달라붙어 눌려보인다 해야하나 … 짧은 앞머리를 뒤로 샥 넘겼을 때 앞으로 볼륨 ? 생기는거 처럼, 긴 앞머리 넘길 때 전체적인 볼륨 ?살리는, 안눌려보이는 방법도 궁금해요 ㅠㅠ

맨 앞부분 간과한 점이 하나있어 알려드립니다. 고데기 잡는 각도가 달라요. 왼쪽 (시계찬손) 으로 하실때는 머리 윗부분을 멀게 잡으셨고 오른쪽으로 하실땐 머리 밑부분을 멀게 잡으셨읍니다. 다시말해 고대기 양쪽 방향이 서로 얼굴 중심으로 반대방향(사다리꼴) 이어야하는데 같은방향(평행선) 입니다. 이렇게 되면 머리카락이 열을받는 위치가 달라지기 때문에 웨이브가 당연히 다르게 나옵니다. 오른쪽 왼쪽 같게 하려면 고대기 잡는 각도도 일치해야합니다. 제가 툭하면 양쪽이 짝짝이로 나와 힘들어하는 부분이라 알려드립니다.

My hair is naturally curve , if I let my hair air dry , it would turn out like your after. If I need straight hair , I just need to use hair dryer to dry my hair. Ppl always ask how can my hair be like that(one day curve and next day straight like from salon treatment ) . I said “ask my mum” she born me like that 😂. It really save my lots of time especially after I watched this video.

It might be worth trying it without the iron actually being on, I tried it the first time with the heat and my hair just wouldn’t go through the iron like hers in the video. Next time I’m going to try and get the technique right before I go for the actual curls lol

I have a question. Does anyone know if you need a curling iron that is thicker? I have a regular one. But i feel like the curls will always be too.. Narrow? And i won't be able to get natural wavy hair. Because i always get real curls only.. I will try this technique but maybe a thinker wand would be better?

1:30 아 진짜 공감요 뭉쳐 있는거 봉고데기 40 뒷말음 으로 하는데 처음 한 안쪽 머리 웨이브 전체 다 넣고 나면 거의 생머리 처럼 웨이브 풀려있는데 이거 진짜 해결 방법 없나요 ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ...? ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ 컬도 지들끼리 안으로 들어가듯이 뭉쳐서 손목 뒤로꺾어서(?) 꼬리빗으로 인형 머리 빗듯이 해줘야 컬이 그나마 물결 처럼 나와요

Do the wavy curls only work well with a larger barrel curling iron? I have a 1 1/4 barrel, a bit narrower than hers and I want the loose curls :(

i would imagine that you could just curl larger sections of hair using the same method; i also have a small barrel wand and that's usually what i do when i want less defined curls!
