Your English is great great! It really is. Thank you for sharing Hazel!! Is it weird that I feel like I'm doing an acting exercise as well? Though empathizing with the feeling makes so much sense. Do you use these techniques when you're teaching too? Understanding a language means understanding the culture - This is exactly it! And to take your comparison to music a bit further (Sorry!) dance is similar! Knowing about the culture and history is integral to learning dance. It's definitely another language where you can use the steps(words) in your own style of sentences. PS. Is that... a Seventeen song in the background?? PPS. I love your footage of the local animals! 🩶
Thank you for your comments!! haha right if acting exercise doesn't feel weird, lets try! I actually use some similar techniques in my Korean lessons too. It's a really good point because I understand how difficult learning a new language can be. Totally makes sense-dancing is similar. All the moves are connected! P.S. I'll listen to Seori's (서리) because I love music, as you can tell by my headphones always being on, haha.
@_this_is__hazel Thank you for your videos!! Yeah! I've been trying to learn Korean for a while, so I'm excited to do more of this exercise. Sounds good! Let me know what you think of Seori (서리)! 😊 Haha I always have headphones on to listen to music too! Do you have any song recommendations?
@@franklinrussel You are learning Korean! That's big and exciting news!! I can't wait to hear more about your journey learning Korean. Um, I mostly listen to sad, slow music, haha. If you have a similar taste~ :)
@_this_is__hazel My Korean learning journey so far? 나는 거북이입니다. 😅 Maybe I'll try writing one sentence in Korean when I comment? Sad, slow music is nice! I think that usually fits my mood. I like listening to everything! Some house music because I dance a bit 🙈
I appreciate you sharing your story.❤❤ I've spent a lot of time attempting to learn English. My listing has improved just by listing too much stuff in English, but my speech is terrible-beginning with the accent, and every time I look for a way to improve it, some people say it's the shadowing and others say it's the group speaking. and I don't know what's the right method for it!
Hey 👋 thank you again for the comments. Yea you are right.. speaking is not easy, especially if you work in your field with a different language - feels different. Don't worry. I bet you are doing well, English is pain sometimes cuz it's hard to feel that you improved, you will sense that someday all of sudden!
@@_this_is__hazel Thank you for your kind words! You're absolutely right, and I'll keep putting in the effort. I actually practiced shadowing with your video, and it was very helpful. Thanks again!❤❤
