most helpful part was when he used the rate stretch tool to align the audio, and then the default transition to make it smooth. learning everyday because of people like you

That's what i was searching for because you already showed how to time remap a video but somehow sound doesn't match the sequence. So what i used to do before is remove the audio after creating time remap sequence and then i replace it with air sound effect. Lol 🙂

i'm trying to do this with a video where there's someone speaking and i'm having trouble matching up the audio with the video. feel like when i make the markers and cut the audio, then drag the audio to the same marker as the slowmo, it's not exactly accurate. i have multiple markers throughout the same clip. any tips for matching these perfectly?

Try to see if you can separate the audio of someone speaking or duplicate the layers maybe and reduce the sound of one clip

May I ask why you duplicate before the slow mo, doesnt that just make the original video pointless in the timeline?

I like to duplicate so that if i mess up my key frames , i do t have to drag the original clip again and again. It's just my way of doing it. There is no need to duplicate the clip tho.
