And Jimin was in this list cuz, like BTS have mentioned before Jimin got kicked out of the main line up for BTS a few times before debut and the reason being that his style of dancing was contemporary but BTS had hip hop style of dance so it was hard for him to adapt to the new style and his trainee period was the shortest for all the BTS members. But he practiced really hard and debuted with BTS. Our Jimin keeps proving to us how much of a hard worker he is and is really a living example that hard work can get you anywhere. 저도 4년전 즈음 우연히 유튜브 동영상으로 지민이가 귀엽게 웃는 동영상을 보고 방탄소년단을 알았어요. 저는 나이든 아줌마라서 최근 10년 정도는 아이돌가수에 대해 관심이 없었거든요. 지민이 덕분에 방탄소년단을 알게 되고 그래서 힘든 삶에 버틸 원동력을 얻었어요. 퇴근후에 자기전에 방탄소년단 동영상을 보면서 매일매일 살아갈 힘을 얻어요. 그런 의미에서 지민이는 은인같은 존재네요.
If only JIMIN could see himself through ARMY's eyes. He is so talented in singing, dancing, composing/writing songs (now even as voice actor) and many more. He's so good looking, has an amazing personality- like everything is so perfect about him. Yeah, Jimin was a trainee for *1 year* and usually trainees debut in more than 2 years. Some artist takes them more than 5 years to debut. BTS was supposed to be a 6 member group. If there was no Jimin then everything would change and their songs will change. Jimin is the reason why I got into BTS to be honest.

And it was actually Jimin who got me into Bts due to his dancing. I've been a YG stan and blackjack for years and Bts was one of those groups who went under my radar until I saw Jimin's 3:33 Fire dance clip and I was mind blown. I don't know Bts and Jimin back then but his facial expression, his movements and that short choreo left a strong impression on me that I immediately made a research afterwards to find out who he is and which group he belonged to. I love dancing very much so extraordinary talented dancers really catch my eye so yeah for 3 years now I'm a Jimin stan and a Bts fan as well (2nd group I stanned after 2ne1) and really happy I found out about them and their music.

BTS without Jimin (or any one of the other member) is not BTS... Jimin got a full scholarship to Busan High School of Arts as the best student in the modern dance area, but surprisingly he might not have been a part of BTS for the most unexpected reason- his dance skills. Can you believe that someone who got a full scholarship to one of the best High Schools of Arts almost couldn’t debut because of DANCE? The reason Jimin had a chance of not making it was because of his pretty dance lines when he dances. Unlike J-Hope, the second main dancer of the group, who has powerful dance moves and uses energetic motions to dance, Jimin has developed a habit of expressions and moves/motions that were used in modern dancing, which gave him a hard time to adapt to powerful, energetic moves of kpop idols. Now, however, the modern dance techniques which Jimin wanted to get rid of so desperately, have given a him unique dance style that only he can express and has influenced many of BTS’ choreographies.
Jimin has this charisma that will make you fall inlove with bts and that's one of his amazing skills in dancing either modern or hiphop. He's born to be a performer.
사실 지금은 연습을 하도 해서 절도 있는 춤선도 가능하지만 현대무용시절 데뷔 전에는 아이돌 춤선하고 현대무용춤선은 언뜻봤을때는 잘 모를수도 있는데 완전히 다름.. 근데도 데뷔때 특히 노멀드림 같은 경우는 춤이 진짜로 빡세고 춤선도 강한데 저렇게 까지 잘 소화한걸 보면 그냥 하는말이 아니라 진짜 연습실에서 살았을것같네...
