I don’t get it. Why are comments saying she’s toxic? This was actually a good interview, she was kind and sweet. When talking about the ones where she got upset arina won, i’m pretty sure that was years ago when arina won the rusian aa, this is the dina now and she admitted her attitude before. You guys are talking like she talked shit about arina here, i was waiting for that part and there was nothing. Throwing words like she’s “abusive” like you know them personally i say you guys are toxic, this comment section is toxic, i’m glad i finished the video.

I like Arina SO much better. Dina has an attitude and a poor sportsman.

I agree that Dina’s behaviour is very toxic and emotionally abusive, but I mean it’s hard to love your competitors. Especially in Russia, where rhythmic gymnastics is so competitive and brutal, it’s normal to feel upset when others win. It’s almost impossible to remain friends especially when the gold medal means so much to you. Just like in figure skating, Alexandra and Anna were best friends, but when both wanted the Olympic gold so much, and only one can have it, it’s impossible to smile and be happy for your friend.

I thought Dina really loved Arina , but clearly not. She’s been trying to allegedly “ change “ her behaviour for years . She’s 25 years old and should have more maturity , she’s very vain and quite honestly her head is up her own ass. At this stage she’ll never change , she’s very emotionally abusive to Arina , as long as she wins she couldn’t care less about her sister at all. She is so rude to Arina and has a terrible attitude towards her all the time lately , she is very condescending and overall just hateful to her. I never understand how people think they have such a cute and close relationship , there is no love there , just and abused and a victim

When did he mistreat her? When is it abusive? He just said he didn't like it when he lost.

You lost at the Olympics, Dina, because you weren't as good as Linoy in the final. What's so hard to understand? Not only does she throw tantrums towards competitors in other countries, but also to her own sister. Sad.
@СерхиоБускетс-ф7я
@СерхиоБускетс-ф7я 10 месяцев назад
This is an incorrect answer. Linoy won because there were new rules. Under the old rules, Dina would have easily won there.
@jamiewalker329
@jamiewalker329 10 месяцев назад
@@СерхиоБускетс-ф7я That's an absurd argument. It wasn't old rules. They both knew the new rules, and choreographed their routines accordingly to those rules. It's like putting a swimmer against a tennis player in a tennis match, and saying if the match was held in the water then the swimmer would have won.
@СерхиоБускетс-ф7я
@СерхиоБускетс-ф7я 10 месяцев назад
@@jamiewalker329 These were new rules. This time the points for technical elements were different. Now the program that the Averina sisters used always did not work as it should. That's why this happened. Some people think that this was done on purpose because the Olympic Committee was tired of the Russians always winning.
@jamiewalker329
@jamiewalker329 10 месяцев назад
@@СерхиоБускетс-ф7я If they didn't adjust their routines in line with the new rules, then it's their fault. Saying there are new rules as an excuse is silly - there are new rules every few years. Neither competitors would have won based on Rio rules.

You HAVE to understand that for these athletes, that olympic medal is what you live for. The hours and hours of training is for this. Losing isn't allowed because your job is to win. It's not a fun hobby, it's pain and agony. But you go through with it because you are worth as much as the points you obtain. I'm from the figure skating world and am not very knowledgable of the culture and general state in this sport, but the last olympics, it was a mess. The girl who placed second (russian called trusova, lost to her then best friend sherbakova). The thing is, she skated as best as she could and genuinely believed that if she did her program the way she did it that day, that she would win by a mile. But she didn't and you can see her crying and screaming "I hate this, I hate everything, you all knew! I am never getting on the ice again" i cannot look at that and condemn her. I just feel for her and all the other girlies at that olympics. I am convinced that having to perform on that level is mental torture no matter what sport it is

Dina is so toxic💀💀
@saltychoco
@saltychoco Год назад
It's not toxic, it's just the difference in their character. I prefer Arisha cause I understand not everyone is like her: thoughtful and calm in nature. Dina said she USED TO feel upset, but not now. I find Dina just more positive than her younger self because from being upset or jealous to being supportive is a process - A process of accepting, learning, and adjusting her emotions. Not just Dina, but also Arisha had to learn to accept and understand her sister's success and even her own feelings. They were all kids before adults so for both, the process is always difficult and it takes time. So it's actually nice now to see them be themselves and supportive of each other.

@@saltychoco Arina literally said Dina still doesn’t talk to her when she wins, how is that supportive? Just because Arina was forced to accept this behavior all her life and now normalizes it doesn’t mean she feels good with it…
