4:38 i think soma is talking more like "This is popular right!" Cause from what i hear the "yu" part is kinda long and it has that accent and it doesnt fit the conversation if its "dream" !

I’m going to have to disagree with you. Here’s why: He says, 「もうこれ夢だよね」 The もう is kind of emphasizing how unbelievable it is that the Millennium Puzzle is getting a plastic model NOW of all times. Also Kaito-kun gets pretty fired up about it too. If you’re aware about pitch accent, 夢 has an odaka pitch accent so the pitch drops after the め The reason why Souma-kun goes ゆう is because he’s emphasizing how crazy it is that they would decide to produce this product. It’s kind of like going “Thisssss is a dream!” Where a word is extended because you’re just so excited/shocked that you can’t even complete your sentence smoothly

The phrase “ふざけんな！” Is a very strong phrase that means like, “Stop bullsh*tting me” or “You have to be f*cking kidding me” He didn’t *actually* say a curse word like we do in English but instead the language used is really vulgar. In order to keep that feeling I used the f word to convey it
