The fact that namjoon is sitting there with all these geniuses at young age is already impressive no matter what the score is. I dont even remember if i use my head around his age LOL
Also the fact that when he decided to be an idol his pursuit of knowledge was the least of his priorities, he mostly spent his time producing and training unlike the other men in the show.
@@kikhyunwoo2348 in truth no it's not .. with age comes wisdom & thought process..my testing at beginning of high school was lower than exit college ...I added 22 points to my IQ stats during that age boundaries. Did a recent IQ test with my kids & grandkids as family curiosity.. I have added another 23 to stat score. I can now sit thru debates on finance, history, comprehension of languages, social issues, reading ...but math I am at same level where I left off in college. Your IQ advances with age. If RM took test today he would test higher due to his life experiences.
that's why these tests exist. otherwise everyone will call themselves a genuis by some standard. this one is a credited IQ test, and is obviously a good standard to rate. The thing is, 120 is high, anything over a 100 is, but we've been fooled heavily by RU-vid anda other online tests. this makes me wonder how much of an actual genius Park Kyung is.... and what the true IQs of all these proclaimed genius idols are.
@@donnal.padilla4336 actually.. i wouldn't call it life experiences.. the fact that much of the cast have advanced degrees.. that weighs heavily into it.. going to school really sharpens your mind with critical thinking.. Much of what RM does that requires high end thinking probably falls mostly during the time when he's creating music.. Not so much during dance practice..
They did a D.Wechsler scale of intelligence test and made a ranking announcement about it. RM was ranked fourth with 120 points, but it was a very high figure of over 140 based on the IQ test of the old version. He has the best concentration score among them. This is a rough summary.
Aww joon was literally soo disappointed but its ok you know cause whatever your IQ is your brain is still precious joon cause you don't take life or anything for granted and are continuously trying to better yourself and that score is actually pretty high I wish I could take an authentic iq test too but last time I took it kind of hurts my pride that I scored soo low in a random test too

Namjoon is a definite genius. The fact that he only finished high school, is the youngest candidate and still being able to score close to the others is still impressive.
I think some people in the comment section did not understand the standard of the IQ test that they did in this show. It was different from the standard that Namjoon took when he was in school. In terms of average as well (in Korea) his age group has alot of smart people as well that's why his grade is not that high. It's what the expert explained. He is still around IQ140+ if you convert it to the standard that's similar to the one he took in school
That's because the test they took covers several areas at once. Everyone on the panel has an above average IQ. RM is just more creative in solving those questions. They require creativity.
“if he studied he could’ve done something great” That’s just the demonstration that smart people can always find other paths in life. He did something big. He’s the leader of the biggest boygroup in the world and there are reasons behind it. He doesn’t need to continue studying if he doesn’t want to, he found already his path.

Idk why but I kinda did think he was gonna get 4th place. Welp anyways, the expert sir did say that when converted to old numbers 120 = above 140 so that's good. And this is still a very high number. But whatever the IQ maybe, it won't change how amazing he is and won't stop him from becoming the future president. 😂

No its "even if he hadn't become an idol, he would have done something great" meaning he did something great by becoming an idol, but even if he hadn't he would have been okay.

Anyone annoy at the end when one of them said "Rapmon, you will be doing great thing in the future if you're not an idol". Well RM is literrally doing God's work, I guess he proved them wrong once again.

Let's be honest, RM is a genius in both logical aspect and artistic... He's exercising his creativity more often than his intelligence, which is why I'm in such awe by him as he's always reading... Proud of my BTS leader. Let's also be honest, the other guys are MUCH older and have decades more experience than he does. Let's test him again in 10 years and he'll probably test higher. Loved how the other guy was cheering RM on, though, LOL
Actually your IQ decreases with age. 20 is your brains peak. Knowledge isnt included that much in IQ tests, while studying as an adult doesnt affect IQ, google it.
I've seen the part of "Even if he hadn't become an idol, he would have done something great" a few times now and it just shocks me to my core. They acknowledged, in this room full of geniuses(RM included), that RM being the Kpop idol that he is can be seen as "something great" and never once put down RM for his line of work. I admire that so much.

For everyone that is kinda confused.They are basically saying that rm has an iq Of 120 now.But it is a different type of test then he took before.They said rm is at a disadvantage bc he is younger.So mostly likely the older you are the most likely more are to get a higher score.But it’s a totally different test so he basically still has an iq of 148 but on this type of test he got a 120. 1.Lee 2.Ha 3.Jeon 4.Rm 5.Kim
That's not why. The test basically compares your abilities with those of other people in your age group, and finds the average score between those people. Because the people in RM's age group generally score higher on the test, it's harder to be considered above average so he's at a disadvantage because of his age group

The thing that confuses me is that he always answers all the questions and gets the answers right with very good explanations. BUT ARMY LOVES HIM, AND WE KNOW HE IS A BEAST
i think that has to do with his amazing focus and concentrating abilities. he's the best at that aspect of the bunch, naturally making him quicker at solving issues; not to mention he's really creative as well!
