It is a double edged reaction. 1. Envy because her suitors are not just ordinary students, but both outstanding and intellectual. 2. Hopelessness and despair at how they cannot experience that in life. It is not Xia Lin Xi's fault, but someone has to be blamed for it. Shi Ying and Quang Fei are perfect characters for that. Jiang Zheng Han and Xia Lin Xi as partners will be a formidable team to beat. Both good at Math, both logical and Jiang island excellent programmer at his age
It's always an issue when what you want you can't have or they feel inferior because they aren't the one being pursued. All these years and he's never shown her interest. So how can she get mad at her like she's leading someone on is baffling to me. Jealousy comes in many forms.

I love this drama a lot. I also love the F. Lead personality; she is a great atress with a bright future. I like the fact that she told that guy straight up that he will always be a brother to her.
It's obvious the female lead likes the male lead but she's both afraid to make the commitment and I think she wants to punish him a little. If only he had spoken to her before he left. Of course then there wouldn't be a drama would there?
yeah i've been trying to understand why she keeps pushing him away. i think perhaps she's afraid he'll do it again or that he's being insincere to her? (it's obvious that him calling her childish when she begged him to stay wounded her deeply, may be a reason for insecurity?)
She was right to be mad. But she takes it too far. She should have been mad, he should have apologized and admitted he did wrong. But that's it. He had to gain her love/trust from 0 again, for me that made all their previous incredibly chemistry go to waste.
He explained why though. Also he came back to say bye but she thought it was a dream. She now knows he came back but she's playing hard to get and enjoying every minute of it with those smirks she makes.

Shi Ying (the senior roommate) is barking at the wrong tree. She is jealous that Qin Yue likes Lin Xi like it's Lin Xi's fault...now she's pulling rank because they are now both members of the computer varsity and trying to intimidate Lin Xi because she thought it was Qin Yue's idea to make Lin Xi a member. It would have been a lot easier for her to confess to Qin Yue and see how it goes.
If nothing else, his statement "I DON'T WANT YOU TO BE TAKEN AWAY FROM ME" confirms how deep his feeling is for her. His explanations since they met again, although done in installment, shows she is the only reason he is staying with both feet on the ground. Xia Lin Xi knows him from high school, all his struggles and his reasons, so she understands him more than anyone else. For these reasons alone, Qin Yue has no chance of winning her. Sorry.
Sadly dramas that dont get the right promo or have a star cast usually get swept under the raider. This drama is so much better than alot of 2020 dramas but in all cdrama must watch recommendations videos no one mentions this drama. I found it by luck myself. The ML also starred in "dreaming back to xing dynasty" which was another enjoyable cdrama...though there were gaps in the story overall it was nice. However still, no recognition.

Lin xi doesn’t understand zheng Han at all. She literally misunderstood the things Zheng Han did to her!!! I feel rlly bad for him like he do so many thing to her but she end up angry at him and leave him😭
Lin xi did a lot for Zheng Han too, but you have to understand that everyone have their sides of the story, Lin xi can't completely figure out what Zheng Han is thinking and why he left her, she waited for him for so long. and maybe she could forgive him but him confessing to her in public makes Lin xi very uncomfortable
I think this is the adjustment period in their budding relationship. Let us not forget that they are only 18-19 years old and so far have already shown a lot of maturity. The fact that they knew each other in high school, even if it was only on 12th grade is more solid than the years of childhood that Qin Yue knew Xia Lin Xi.
To be honest, if I have to compare Qin Yue and Jiang Zheng Han about who knows Lin Xi better than who, I would pick Zheng Han. Qin Yue may know Lin Xi longer than Zheng Han, but he doesn't understand Lin Xi better than Zheng Han. Qin Yue thinks that a girl like Lin Xi needs protection, needs someone to always take care of her and that she's this innocent, obedient girl, but that's not who she really is. Like what Zheng Han said, Lin Xi is not a girl who needs protection, she pursues freedom and has things she likes to do. She's also not always sensible but when she is, she can be understanding. So I have to say knowing someone, it doesn't matter if the person knows you longer than someone else, what matters is who knows you better. So I vote for Jiang Zheng Han who knows Xia Lin Xi better than Qin Yue.
I agree too, I'm glad on this drama we all know the end before the end. So at least even if you are angry sad, you can little voice remind us there will be happy ending
I would TOTALLY agree with choosing Jiang Zheng Han if he hadn't abandoned her. This guy is a computer geek yet he could find absolutely NOOO way to contact her within the year? Not even a carrier pigeon?? I've heard his excuses and I cannot believe any of them, Jiang knew he hurt Xi by leaving her like that and calling her 'childish' for running after him. Jiang demonstrated bad character. Yet the previews show that she married him anyway. Oh well! She was warned.
I am over 50 and have seen many different people. If someone shows his bad character, only a miracle will make him a different man. So without that miracle, believe the experience. If the guy abandons once when the opportunity is right, he will abandon again. it's what he does in a tight situation. He cannot help it. No matter how sorry he is afterward, this is his character. She was warned.
@@mjohnson2991 What! No and hell no. People do change and it's a myth that only a miracle would do so. He was 18 years old at the time and that's a transitional period for people. He changed for the better. Now blaming him for leaving at a time when his age, experience, situations and lifestyle were all against him having a relationship at that time. He had to build himself to be what he can be and wants to be before he can care for and love another person. He needs to love himself first in order to love someone else. Now blaming an 18 years old for a choice he was forced to make isn't something an above 50 years old would assume. Mistakes made in a time of powerlessness and lack of other options hardly defines a person, how they go about fixing things does.
However, at the same time, it's not her fault because it's also the guy's choice too, that chooses to like her. She's a middle person anyways lol It goes the same way for guys who have two girls liking him, no matter who he likes, someone will get hurt and jealous as well lol

The other reason it becomes complicated is that these annoying people are doing things to discourage the relationship. It's really hard to understand someone who is not being honest with their emotions. As a mature adult female, I find it a little difficult to watch these shows with young people. I understand being hurt and not wanting it to happen again, but she can say that. Say that she will need time but she plays this tough exterior and often twist his words to take offence. Exhausting.

Remember when he said "Party A" it is because he signs contracts for the job, even before he went to Computer major. When he was still in Grade 12, he was already doing some sort of programming job, though not to this extent yet. He was already developing a security-related program in his secret place.

I LOVE THIS DRAMA BUT… one thing that bothers me is that they kinda changed their character like now he is very open and heartwarming and she is cold and rejects him. And if you remember in the first episodes when they stillt were in high school it was the other way around.
This is how a FL should be depicted: strong, beautiful, smart, brave...with multiple guys in love with her...makes a great change from the usual drama's where female vipers are obsessed over ML and hurt the FL.

Yes, a friend might have a chance...a brother is totally taboo...so Qin Yue already lost. Remember, too, Jiang Zheng Han already won a gold medal in ACP that also won accolades from other countries. He is also "Party A" in projects he does including Qin Yue's so he is definitely better than Qin Yue so being "Brother Zoned" is no surprise.

Qin Yue said that he was the referrer of JZH to the varsity to which JZH replied "also a Party A to me" is a clear picture that JZH is better than Qin Yue because he pays JZH to do the programming since he can't do it well. In one previous episode he even said he might quit it, which means he is not confident with his talent; hence, the help, which we'll find out later too.
This story was looking so unique then director you had to throw a whole bunch a misunderstanding and a Fl who knows she loves the Ml but rather prove stubborn...give me Sunshine of my Life where the female lead doesn't have this kind of nonsense.
