I was longing for shen li to call Feng lai as "Father" even if once .😢 But , she didn't do it and it really shattered my heart 😭😭 As because he deserve to being called as FATHER as he really sacrificed a lot. 😦😦

These two really a real deal. Both the actors and their characters. The most mesmerizing power couple that I've ever seen in Xianxia CDrama. Shen Li's power is amazing but damn, Xing Zhi!!! Even in that state, he still can blow the brute force to par with his father in law, and yet he also intends to purify him. If only his divine power wasn't deteriorated, I can't imagine how brutal he can be. Shen Li, that's your real match and your man there. 04:14 & 18:14 And not to mention the music. Shen Li's background themes are captivating, but Xing Zhi is on another level. Gods Have No Bounds absolutely capture his soul and presence as the divine sovereign. Strong, distant, majestic, ancient, mysterious, but gallant, heavenly and graceful. When his music starts, you know that something big is gonna happen. It's like him saying, "I'm ready to business. And don't try to mess with me. Even you my creator, the Way Of Heaven!" Perfect balance for Shen Li's existence. And how they gaze at each other? No wonder that their chemistry is unparalleled with other CPs. Those gaze, it speaks millions, either words, feelings and emotions. And more powerful than most of any kissing scenes on TV history. This series surely ain't flawless, but it's still great in its own way.
Such an intense and emotional episode, all fighting against the puppet’s and Feng Li finding out Liu Yu was dead was heartbreaking as he really loved her. And finding out Shen Li is his daughter he went straight back to the ruined abyss so Shen Li can be set free, Xing Zhi again will sacrifice himself for his love of Shen Li. The love they have for each other is the same love Feng Li and Liu Yu had for each other. Such a beautiful and sad episode. 😢😢❤❤
The first time I saw the actor that plays Shen Li’s dad was in A Dream of Splendor. I thought he was a good actor, but he didn’t give off future ML vibes, but wow at what a good role can do because he’s crazy tragic and gorgeous here. Hope we see more of him in future dramas.
If there is anyone who has done most sacrifice is Shen Li father, being a monster he acted more humane than everyone😢😢😢😢. All he yearned is 💕…lived all along and sacrificed for liu li and now for his daughter. His tears and just one touch showed how much he cared for his daughter. Literally in tears 😢😢😢😢😢.
Definitely I would like to watch another drama about Zhao liying and Lin Gexin...(Sorry If Wrote wrong his name) They're one of my fav couples, in "Princess agents" and also in this drama "the legend of Shen Li"
In the end, his ultimate sacrifice was due to his strong loving bond with Shen Li's mother, Liu Yu; and not for his daughter he just met with no prior opportunity to develope a relationship.

Just for once I wanted to hear father word from Shen Li...Just for once😭😭 But still liked the glare between father & daughter and the way touched her🥺 said it all😭 This man sacrificed his happiness for others 1000 years ago and Sacrificed his life now for his daughter..He never done anyone any wrong, still he met this end. He needs to be appreciated❤ I hope Liu Yu and he will be reunited in the after life✨
Arial Lin and Zhao liying are the best performing actresses in China. Their acting is superb in all dramas they play, compatible and show real chemistry with their partners. This is what good actors and actresses should show in acting, should perform as the story and the love is real. This shows, great acting skills. Dilraba and Zhao Luci should learn from that is not just enough to waive the swords but to have good acting skills which they both lack. Both Arial Lin and Zhao Liying are naturally good looking. Dilraba is also good looking but her acting needs improvement. Zhao Luci with make up can look attractive but is not that good looking really, it's all make up and expensive clothes, her acting is only average. Arial Lin is the best performing actor so far wth world class performing. She can play anything, versatile. She puts her soul in her acting, incredible actress.China should be proud of her Chinese roots. Zhao Liying is very much as good as Arial Lin.
In order for the audience to be able to accept the permanent exchange of one good soul for another, the writers needed to diminish the father/daughter relationship of 2 people meeting for the 1st time. This way we can still hold out hope for the long-term cultivated love of our two heros.❤
The director insists on giving excuse to the bad people and try to show they have good sides - Mak Fung, Shen Li’s father…. There ARE bad people in the world and JUST leave it as that!

And as the other comment, the bad guys basically weren't born with pure evil. Even from the very beginning. They had no choice. Mo Fang? He practically raised by hatred towards spirit realm and heaven realm.The same thing happened with Feng Lai. And when you said bad people, there are Liu Ming (Mo Fang's father) and Fu Sheng (his general).
