I wouldn’t as much consider it as nonsense. Put yourself in her shoes when you discover that your online friend with whom you shared your innermost sentiments was your boss. Wouldn’t you want to keep that special friendship and at the same time keep your ideal job that you so dearly love. Personally I would. It was quite a dilemma for Xia for sure especially when in the end it turned out Mr. Eat You Alive boss had the heart of Mr. Shoulder To Cry On. Reminds me of a Jane Austen Mr. Darcy. I think there also was an element of Xia being angry at herself for not standing up to Xin. If she had this would had been a drama series of very few episodes 😂.

Okay this is usually where I leave 31:24 when I’m watching this type of drama. He loves Xia, but he’s going to try with Xin??? He knows that Xin lied on her social page and is being pushed on him by his mother. I never understand how come these men do this. Don’t they realize how wrong this will appear to the person they really love??? Why doesn’t he continue to fight for Xia? Makes no sense.

This drama is boring. If there is a woman alive who is this stupid as Ning Xia, she deserves no sympathy. I am not even mad at her cousin at this point. Xia is the one who told her Xin to pretend to be her in the first place. She is the one who continues to trick the man and carry on the lie. If she really even liked him, she wouldn't do that to him. She wouldn't carry on this pretense if she truly loved him. She is actually worse than her cousin. She doesn't deserve to end up with him. I can't watch any more of this rubbish.

Have you forgotten the emotional blackmail that the cousin used on her, reminding her of the time her parents died how her family took Xia in and how she, Xin helped her overcome her sorrow. Have you also forgotten how Xia was in the hospital,? The parents talked about the ways Xia always made sacrifices, like not sitting the SAT to go to university and moving out so as not to be a bother with space. It can't have been easy losing a parent or parents when so young in such a terrible way, she suffers from a lack of self-confidence
