Moo is so ambitious about everything. Be it career of his love life, he has high expectations. Unlike us people who get discouraged when the situation doesn't turn out to be in our favor, he's optimistic and never gives up. He is very affectionate, communicative and likes physical touch. He is very bold and funny. And "never let them know their next move" perfectly suits him. HE IS A WHOLE PACKAGE. And I love how Kang plays along to Kang's playful nature without getting irritated. something I really really love about this drama is how unlike other bl dramas, and dramas in general, it is. The main couple actually acts like a couple, touchy and loveydovey without holding back too much. Though Kang is colder than Moo, he actually seems to care for him, unlike couples in other dramas where one always holds back from affect and often seems like they don't want to be in a relationship at all. There's little stiffness, and it all seems very casual, like a real couple would be. Their kisses are good, but not experienced, like kisses in a first relationship would be. They're overeager, and yet still holding back, and it's just incredibly refreshing to see the realism. Not to mention, the actors are actually around the age their characters are! So they look the age they are supposed to, and I can't tell you how nice that is. There's so much in this drama that is just so realistic and so refreshing to see, and I cannot get enough of it. Kudos to GMMTV for doing better. Their dramas have been superior to other Thai channels for a while, especially their BL's, but they're really stepping up their game here, and with Wandee Goodday as well. Ah, a prime time for GMMTV indeed. Well-needed.

I agree with you about the affection of the characters in series. I often feel the same way and chalk it up to cultural differences (but secretly think it’s BS). Not to say all couples are the same, but if you enter into a relationship and proclaim your love for the person then it’s only natural to be affectionate with them!

@@Admete69 yeah I’ve been doing the same, saying it’s just cultural differences, but in reality I think it’s just a barrier of showing casual affection on screen. I mean, we see how casually affectionate they are off-screen. It’s a bit frustrating when everyone is so physically distant on screen when I think casual affection is what differentiates romantic relationships from other relationships, ya know. It doesn’t have to be constantly kissing or hugging, but a small touch around the waist, a non-obvious linger on the shoulder-just something that shows they’re in a relationship and comfortable with each other :)

@@jaejaehikun yeah people watch the bad ones anyway bc of the BL but some of the acting and/or storylines are horrendous, unfortunately. GMMTV usually does better than others after a lot of trial and error, but they deal with a lot of new actors and writers, so sometimes it’s really just subpar. Sometimes I think they cater to their fans too much instead of doing what’s good.

The bed scene literally had me in tears. I’m glad they were able to perfectly portray the pure love and curiosity that comes with teen love so well.
