A devastating earthquake has occurred in Xichuan. Lawyer Luo Ben has gone to the disaster-stricken area to look for his younger sister Luo Yuan. It's there that he comes into contact with the rescue unit under the leadership of Captain Qing Shan. Luo Ben also encounters Zhan Yan with whom he's had bad blood with in the past. However, he soon changes his mind about her as he comes to admire her selflessness and brilliance as a doctor. Luo Ben bears witness to the people's sense of camaraderie in the face of adversity and becomes deeply inspired by the volunteer efforts. Luo Ben along with Xiong Fei, Zhou Min Ming and Ding Ding Ding are the new recruits to the team. They survive Captain Qing Shan's "training from hell" and put their lives on the line in every rescue and disaster relief operation that pits them against earthquakes, fires, floods and typhoons. At the end of the day, they finally grow into an elite rescue unit.

i am bit annoyed at his sister. Maybe bcz of the way ignored luo ben (I accept that Luo ben is over protective at times, but somehow it's reasonable, her being outside is really dangerous, just imagine someone kidnapped, she wont even be able to yell/call out) and she just came out after surgery and waited for hours for a GUY :/ i hate such behaviour when they barely known each other. The sister is annoying to me.

She is very selfish in my opinion. He is overprotective for a reason and everything he does is for her but she doesn't even show concern for her brother.

誰叫羅本做了救護員最痛恨的阻塞緊急通道行為，還要跟展顏在車中杠上鬥嘴，留下知法違法、不知悔改、自私自利的惡劣印象。緣分是幽默的，他不佔用緊急通道又不會遇上她。第一個固有印象不容易改變，這就是他的命運吧。😂😂😂

人設也有原因的。她的經歷和工作。。不討喜但能理解。我姑是癌科醫生，也是有点冷漠。每天跟生死打交道。他對病人很關心但對身邊的人就跟女主一樣。可能有些人不善於把自己感情分割，不冷漠一點很難繼續工作下去吧。我們喊痛還要給他罵。她總覺得我們無病呻吟，但到她自己痛時叫的最大聲就她了😅

ML's sister is very selfish in my opinion. He is overprotective for a reason and everything he does is for her but she doesn't even show concern for her brother. He has spoiled her to the point she doesn't understand how hard her brother works and takes care of her. What brother joins a rescue group just to protect her in the future if needed? She go around thanking everyone than her brother. People need to stop judging him if we have never been in his shoes maybe the reason he like that is something happened in the past or it just them two.

for professional rescuers, the action to save the kid looked amateurish. the child fell from 15m and they only secured his cervical spine. what about the rest? the injured should be transported on a rigid stretcher so as not to damage the spine and not taken on hands like a sack of potatoes :)
