I don't think we're watching the same dramas. Ben have worked his butt off to give his siter such a comfortable life. He did everything for her. Why is it hard to understand that he doesn't want her to suffer later? His sister might not get it but we as onlookers definitely should be fair in our judgment

How is it that people always get sick right after they got a dip in a river or were wet because of rain? I mean, I take it they showered or at least put on some dry clothes, right?!?!?!?! And she's already sniffing, going through so many tissues? ..... Much of his over protectiveness is guilt from causing her inability to talk. If she lost her lover, she still has his family. A loving family she desperately wants and needs. If she gives up her lover and then loses her brother in rescue, then what? She is left alone.

@@oliverng2766 I get your point, they even showed Xiongfei struggling to get a job so it's going to be really difficult for him if things don't go well with his food truck because that's everything he has. The positive thing is that he's famous now because of the rescue team so I believe he'll have opportunities in the future (because this a drama not real life). But I still think Luo Ben's attitude is too obsessive and even agressive with his sister. Luo Yuan knows all of that, she literally said to Xiongfei "I don't care about your past" meaning she wants to be with him no matter what. She's a 30 year old adult, not a kid. Luo Ben needs to respect her decisions, he thinks he can control her life forever

I can't believe you're saying these, you didn't get anything. Luo Ben is a total psychopath obsessed with his sister, he controls everything she does and she can't even choose who she wants to be with, that's crazy. Luo Ben even locked her in a room without her phone, that's abuse. He's totally out of his mind and this poor girl is tired of it, I can't stand LuoBen. The only reason I keep watching is because of Xiong Fei and Luo Yuan, their story is touching and different from all the other stories. Xiong Fei is not a typical rich CEO with a cold heart, he's a very good person who struggles to find a job because of his past but he never gave up, and that's all that matters. Also, it's LuoYuan decision at the end of the day who she wants to date. Luo Ben needs to stop.

There are several things I don't agree with you. 1. Xiong Fei ACTUALLY SAID Luo Yuan should go study abroad and that he would support her and still be there waiting for her once she returned. He simply chose to support HER DECISION not to go abroad FOR THE MOMENT. (2:26 ) 2. Luo Ben locking his sister up and now trying in every way to control her life..... I do understand he's concerned, but this is at least borderline freak control. Additionally, I think there's an unhealthy amount of guilt playing a role here. What he's doing is actually controlling her life. 3. Why is actually owning and running a Wonton food Truck not a proper job? Tell that to all the food truck owners in the world making an actual living of running a food truck. In Asia it's far more normal to run a food truck (succesfully) then, let's say in Europe. I live in the Netherlands and unless I go to a big city like Amsterdam or Utrecht, I'll only see a food truck when I'm at a market. But that's simply how it is in the Netherlands. In Indonesia for example (I've been there and my mother-in-law is Indonesian) it's is VERY common to find loads of food trucks in the streets. If I'm correct it is pretty normal in China as well. Is it because you think he wouldn't be able to make a living? Who says so? I work as an interior cleaner and even though it's a job (far) worse than being the owner of a food truck, I'm still able to pay my bills. Sure, starting out is always risky. But it doesn't matter if it's a food truck or a high class restaurant. In fact, with the latter I'd say the risk is even much greater. Generally speaking it takes about 5 years for a business to reach break-even point. For a food truck this might be less because the circumstances are different. Nonetheless he has shown he is willing to pick up the gloves and make a life for himself, instead of accepting that no one wants to hire him because he's been in jail for three years. A benefit of having the food truck is that he can easily work with the Rescue Team. Much more easier than with the parcel delivery service. After all, now he is his own boss. But then of course Ben decides to intervene with a ridiculous request. What goes for Xiong Fei also goes for Ben in my opinion in this particular matter of being in the rescue team. 4. Have you ever tried to get a decent job after you've been in jail? A job that a man like Luo Ben would appreciate? And let's face it, for a man like Luo Ben only someone who's got more money than he himself, respectfully earned, would be good enough for his sister. Does that mean she would actually be happy with such a man? 5. What makes his sister dumb? The fact that she's choosing, FOR NOW, to not go abroad to study and to see where this relationship is going? How many people in the world make the same decision? Are they all dumb? Is the study running away? Won't she be able to attend the study abroad anymore if she goes in, let's say a year? No. She's simply deciding to postpone it because something new, unexpected but welcome has entered her life. A chance at romance. Does that make her dumb? Or is the fact that she doesn't accept to be controlled by her brother? I wholeheartedly agree with her. It is admirable that Ben wants to take care of her, but let's face it, she IS an adult. She has THE RIGHT to choose her own life. Her brother might not agree with her choices, but it's HER life. He doesn't have the right to CONTROL her. I know you said in earlier comment it's all just a drama and you wouldn't watch it if Luo Yunxi wouldn't be in it. It might be "just a drama", but the points you raised are not fictional. Remember: also web/tv series/books/movies all carry some moral in them. And often times many more than just one. /end rant.

Even after leaving all the emotional, practical part for a moment, the first job of every human is to respect everything possible (and obviously get the same) I'm an Indian currently in med school in an island country Mauritius and I totally see every profession, person, culture, races, country folklore with all due respect. Food trucks r common in most parts of the world and I totally agree with opening a small business first growing it and honestly that is the real bliss of success. Each field requires same amount of hardwork just different kind in different professions. Love is something totally pure and even after looking practically into a fact that how hard it could be living, true love won't decrease or increase according to that. I thought Ben would come to his senses after the situation with his sister. However, as you can see, he found another way to make life difficult for his sister. decided to ruin Fei's life. I find it strange that Fei even considers Ben's ultimatum. I would send him to hell. stop meddling in adult affairs. for me Ben this time, even though he is the main character and by the standards of Chinese drama he should be positive, he is one of the negative characters in the drama. My sympathy for him decreases with every episode. he simply heals his complexes and traumas, hurts his sister and her chosen one :(:(
Meh ML is just too controlling. In the name of love when you do emotional torture ,it is not love. Nobody but god can guarantee anything. He suffers from guilt for his sisters disability , so makes it everyone's problem. If he really cares about his sister then it is time to let go and find her own feet and grow up.
ok so I think that luo ben should put himself in fei and yuan's shoe then he should see whats wrong and whats right like he can't just ask him to choose he is the brother the only family but what if someone says the same thing to him.As a lawyer he shouldn't judge him just bcz he went to the jail bcz he never really wanted to know the truth HE thinks that they are poor they can not take care of his sis he is just using the jail thing as an excuse to break them apart.
