@BCSN24 i agree with what you said, onew is the kind of leader that takes care of things quietly in the back like a mom and when he goes on stage, he lets his members shine (like letting them talk and stuff) , he only steps out when any situation goes out of hand. that's why people who don't know SHINee very well think that he is just a leader in name. Truthfully, if anyone watched all members' fancams since they debuted to now, they will realize onew is best qualified as leader.
@8seed and he has the best manners i have ever seen in anyone. and he doesn't act like 'i am the hyung' to anyone younger than him, always respectful and warm toward people.
Could someone please message me the number of this episode and where I might be able to find the whole thing with eng subs? I really want to watch it :)
@DancingQueens2010 I am not going to justify the Shinee comment, because I am definitely a fan. The Minho opinion from me is not new. He is not exactly my favorite member/person and I have a love/hate 'relationship' with him. Don't really care if you like that opinion or not...its how I feel about him sometimes. It would seem that you did not read/understand my point, so we'll just leave it at that hon.
I get what you're saying, but it was not the right forum for that label. This is supposed to be a show to bring people together and get a better understanding of different cultures. Normally, that would involve a lot of tact and schmoozing. That's all I was saying :)
Everyday, I see examples of why Onew was made the leader. I'm not criticising when I say this, but calling someone a foreigner (like Key did throughout this show) can be offensive to some people. Onew seemed more inviting and cracked jokes that put people at ease. He is better at that than anyone in Shinee.
@BCSN24 Hm, whereas I can understand the point of what you're saying, I going to go out on a limb and say you don't watch very many variety shows dealing with foreigners. It's a term used in EVER show I've seen dealing with foreigners and those that don't have them in it. It's not disrespectful in the slightest, and Onew has said it to foreigners faces as well. Since it's not a bad word, or rude everyone uses it....no one takes it offensively though...
haha Onew n I r so much alike haha I'm like here watching this then like i have thoughts n then like 1 sec later he says the exact same thing that i was thinking i we both love chicken lol
@DancingQueens2010 I get what you are saying, but it was not really appropriate for a forum in which you are 'reaching out' to others in a friendly manner. That is what that show is about. There is a time and place for everything and that was not it. There is a difference when you're talking in a business meeting, a smoozefest (like this one), a variety show or with your friends. Onew knows the difference, Key doesn't. As much as Minho can be a dick, he would have been a better choice for this.
@BCSN24 American's use the word too, but not in this type of environment. This type of forum calls for you to be sort of a 'salesperson' for your country. This is the type of forum that can increase tourism, so you put your best foot forward. Someone who is good at selling would say something like a person from another country or say that particular countries name. You have to know how to smooze people. It business 101. Onew is great at it, Key is not. That was all I was saying.
Its still tactless and not conducive to what this show is trying to do. Which is bring people of different cultures and races together. That term makes people feel like an outsider and unwelcome.
