[ENG SUB] 210812 'City Fisherman 3' EP.15 (ATEEZ Yunho cut) 

hello, everyone! 2 things. 1) this is NOT the full 'yunho cut'. i had to remove about 10 minutes worth of footage to prevent this from being blocked. the FULL version is on google drive, link is in the description. (you need a passcode. the info for that is also linked in the description). 2) with the release of the official 'city fisherman' episode w/ yunho, as well as an unedited version, there has understandably been some anger & hurt over how he was treated. this comment will be explaining all of the issues (that i am aware of)! #1: the official episode & the unedited clips version have both been taken down on the official youtube channel for 'city fisherman'. HOWEVER, there has been no confirmed reason for this, so i ask that you don't speculate that it had something to do w/ yunho. that could possibly be the reason, or it could be totally unrelated. while editing this, i noticed several technical errors in the original video, since it was livestreamed. that could be the reason, or it could be unrelated, again. so, unless we get a confirmed reason why the videos were deleted, please refrain from speculating! thank you. #2: many atinys were not happy w/ how much yunho had to run. for context, the seat positions & partners were chosen at random. there was an official rule that each team had to scoop the fish that were caught by the team to their LEFT, or else the catch wouldn't count. since yunho was at seat #1, the team to his left was #7, which was at the other end. there are several reasons why yunho did all the scooping & not his partner. firstly, in korea, there is a culture of respect in regards to age. this does NOT mean anyone older than you can treat you badly. it's more about respect/courtesy to those older than you, whether that be a 1 year or 60 year difference. yunho's partner is nearing age 70 (& was suffering from shingles during this shoot), so based on that aspect of culture alone, i highly doubt yunho would be comfortable letting his partner go to scoop, even if his partner offered. also, it is best if the person w/ the net gets there as soon as possible, to prepare to scoop the fish, since the fish may get loose if they take too long. also, if you watch the full episode/livestreams, the younger members did a large majority of the scooping for ALL teams, not just yunho. and, for the other teams, the distance was much shorter & their partners were ALL younger than deokhwa, so it wasn't a situation of yunho getting singled out unfairly. i'm positive that if any other team had sat in position #1, the younger member would've done most, if not ALL, of the running/scooping. i do not believe this was intentional mistreatment. i understand it may be difficult to fully grasp the context if you are not as familiar w/ korean culture as a korean, so i hope this clears that up a bit. #3: during their lunch break, yunho was chosen to cook for his half of the table. they didn't show how he got chosen, so this could be for a multitude of reasons. it may have been because his seat was the closest. it could also be because of the age aspect of the culture, again. however, keep in mind that woojin of ab6ix was also seated at the same table as yunho, and he is younger than yunho & the official maknae for this episode, although they are both 99 liners. the maknaes/youngest people will often cook/grill meat in scenarios like this. a good example of this would be in 'salary lupin'. seonghwa, who is the oldest member of ateez, was chosen to grill meat for all the members, because in the show, he (along w/ san) had the lowest job ranking of regular employee/staff. they joked around in the show, but in real life, these situations are not inherently malicious. it depends on how the older people treat the younger people in general, but the situation itself is not necessarily bad. unfortunately, due to a misunderstanding & miscommunication w/ kim junhyun (who was cooking for the other half of the table), yunho added noodles too early. kim junhyun's pot was boiling, but yunho's side had an issue w/ the burner, so it hadn't started boiling yet. kim junhyun didn't realize this & told yunho to add the noodles. this can result in the noodles becoming too soggy, which is why it was an issue. it was an honest mistake on yunho's part & anyone can see that it's not his fault at all. however, certain 'city fisherman' members chose to be a bit passive-aggressive, when they should have been more understanding, respectful, and most of all, professional, since this is a SHOW after all. i'm glad that kcm & kim junhyun stood up for yunho & comforted him, & acted how a sunbaenim should act. that doesn't fix how yunho was treated, but i'm glad he had people on his side & i wanted to mention them. #4: you may or may not know of the incident where lee deokhwa (yunho’s partner) called yunho a sl*ve. this is true. he said it in a way like “(you’re/he’s like) a sl*ve, a sl*ve” because of how much yunho was running around. this context does NOT make it okay at all. i know this is long, but i wanted to do my best to clarify & provide as much context as possible. i am in no way making excuses for anyone, & i'm upset that yunho was not able to properly enjoy his time on the show & was treated this way. i just hope that in the future, yunho can go on shows where he is properly respected & treated the way he deserves. i want everyone to have as much information on these situations as possible, which is why i wrote this comment. i hope you all take care of yourselves.
