This is the first ever drama i have seen where male mc is so understanding and mature.....we should learn smth from him

We need more of this kind of dramas so wholesome, beautiful and heart touching... Actors well chosen , characters well thought of , script wonderfully written and the plot flows magically . All in all it gives a warm and nice family feel that can enchant viewers from different ages . Truly impressive!!

Lu jin so elegantly ended this man's whole career 🤣🤣🤣 this is still one of my favorite scenes this and when he got the chef to tell on himself and asked him to clarify who he thought she was sleeping with... That was major salt in the wound

The level of maturity portrayed by the male lead is sooooooo romantic 🤭....in conclusion, this is absolutely beautiful 😭❤❤

I've watched hundreds of C Dramas, but, this is by far one of the best I've watched. The way the male lead looks at the female lead, is exactly the way every women wants to be looked at by her significant other... Beautiful chemistry.

Really liked the way Lu Jin cleared the room so he could teach his brother a life-lesson the parents never did. That he told his brother "I don't blame you" speaks volumes in a few words. Those 4 simple words told his brother that Lu Jin knew the brother was manipulated by both the father and stepmother to prevent Lu Jin from taking over the father's withering legacy. That he spoke to him in private shows he is still the 'older brother' who cares for his family and in that way, the younger brother's reputation isn't trashed for all time in their business world. Simultaneously, he's telling the younger brother that he poked the wrong bear by using Gu as a pawn in the evil scheme of which he agreed to be a part and for that, there is a price: he took advantage of her good nature, her trusting nature and her youth to come between she and Lu Jin to throw Lu Jin off his game. Had the younger brother paid more attention to the brutal lessons that were being thrust upon Lu Jin by the vengeful mother they were but children, he would have known he would never out maneuver Lu Jin in a business deal, which he might have known to some degree because his way of saving his father's failing business endeavor was to lie, cheat and steal so in agreeing to those tactics, he knew he couldn't beat Lu Jin fair and square. He messed with his head, with his finances, with his heart by using Gu and Lu Jin still saw through it, made countermoves before the younger even played his hand. Younger brother was relentless in his dirty tactics right up to leaving Gu's door open knowing the brother would eventually come to check on her: without her there, he could spin any tale he wanted including him being asked to clean out her unnecessary things that included anything to do with Lu Jin and herself. I will say this about Lu Jin composure, I wish I had 1/10th of that man's self control. That he didn't toss the younger brother out the window like Gu did with the car shows how tightly he keeps himself in check emotionally. On another note, I really liked the way this drama didn't shy aware from men showing they actually have emotions: every male character cried or teared up at some point: Lu Jin, his personal assistant, his younger brother, Gu's grandfather, Lu Jin's father, Gu's uncle and her childhood friend who left to study abroad after she rejected him, even the creepy co-worker chef who sabotaged Gu's black truffle dish cried (granted, he got decked by Lu Jin, but he still was crying while running away). Men have emotions just as deep as women and it is refreshing to watch a drama where they show their feelings and don't act like they all have blocks of cement in place of their hearts.

This drama is not one I used to watch. I started watching after seeing a short video. I didn't think it would be such a beautiful story 😭 Lu jin is so handsome and I fall for him 😩❤

For those of you who like the male lead LIN yushen, watch his 2007 Chinese drama “荣归” （return to glory). 33 episodes. He was only 26 years old then, playing the role of LI Ming Jie, the second son of a ultra rich business family. He demonstrated superb acting skills then, and portrayed very complex layers of personality. I was very impressed. Hope he can land many great roles in the future. Lin Yushen is truly a gem in East Asian drama.

His relief when his brother says there has never been anything between him and Gu Shengnan is so intense, you can feel him reeling in back the tears.

I'm so glad the elder brother reached out to his younger sibling and tried to patch their differences. I liked this drama because it was light and funny..Not too much on corporate greed and sibling rivalry.. It was mostly fun

This was my first Zhao Lusi drama...It's a role that accelerated her growth as an actress. Since then opened up her audience and her roles. The Long Ballad is another role that broke her mold and truly impressed. She should be proud as an artist. We definitely are impressed.

I loved it. I wish it didn't have to end. It was so well acted by all the stars. The ending gave me warm fuzzies. I was so happy his mother finally accepted Lusi's character. I was also glad that both brothers came together in the end. The Leading couple were just phenomenal. They had great chemistry and are top-of-the-line actors. Lusi is one of my favorite actors from China. She is so natural and adorable and also one of the best criers. I love all her movies. She is a beautiful soul.

I admire the fact that Lu Jin did not share their dirty laundry during the corporate meeting for the takeover. His disrespectful, cocky and arrogant young brother didn't even know what hit him once Lu Jin itemized everything Zheng has done. The competence and confidence of Lu Jin in what will happen showed on his face once he sat at the head of the conference table and never took his eyes off his brother. When he said Zheng has to pay the price for using the woman he loves (Shengnan) to put him (Lu Jin) down, as a viewer, you just know what will happen next. Excellent performance.👍👍👍👍👍

THE LEAD MAN IS SO CHARISMATIC EVEN THE LEAD ACTRESS IS YOUNG.. WHY AGE MAN LOOK SO HANDSOME 😂

From the beginning of this drama till this end I can truly say that it is a super movie

This was such an enjoyable drama. I especially liked that writer was able to tie it up nicely where brother learned his lesson yet loved by older brother, the mother wasn’t super mean but that at end, she gave in to honor her son’s choice and also recognize the goodness of her sons love. Added is the many laughs, sweet tender moments, and excellent cast members, this is one of my favorite dramas.

Absolutely loved this drama!!!! Well written, well paced, well acted, and well directed. Great character development all around, and I actually started to love her Uncle's character (I hated him and her best friend most of the show). Fantastic chemistry between the leads and it actually showed progression in their relationship instead of it abruptly changing like in a lot of dramas. I thought it was awesome that we got to see his brother mature and that he still looks up to his big brother and tries to emulate him. There was no over the top actions that have always made me wonder why the police weren't involved or when rational people would throw up their hands up and say screw this, I'm out. I've seen it in so many dramas and it has always ruined it for me. Because even though dramas are not real life, when the characters behave in ways completely contrary to rationality and common sense, it just ruins my suspension of disbelief.

I just love the line of Lu Jin,"Don't say sorry I hate when people say sorry to me ".And when his brother said the same line 😂😂I just can't stop laughing 😹😂😂.

I appreciate dialogue between Mr Lu and his brother. This scene looks like so real. He incorporated Mr Lu character as an empresarial rich man full of charming . Excellent actor! Congratulations!

Had a bout of insomnia and binge watched this . Absolutely loved it. I laughed and cried and loved the ending ( not that I wanted it to end ) The male and female leads were truly awesome with a great supporting cast. Kudos to all involved from director,cast and crew.

the mom offering to cook dinner for shengnan feels so significant bc it harks back to when she used her profession to humiliate shengnan but now it's used to admit to shengnan that she was wrong about her and that she respects her.

Once in a while an actor portrays their character so well that I feel as if I fell in love with him. This is the case with Lin Yushen. His portrayal of Lu Jin is so incredibly charming and attractive that it stirs these feelings up inside of a viewer like me. I think only Zhao Lusi can compliment his performance so well, always a fan of hers. Outstanding series, my second time watching this. 💗👍

The chemistry they have between each other is just so naturally build 💗 nothing force or anything. I love them so much

The ending was awesome...specially the car part.. But I laughed the most when I saw Lu zeng saying the same line like Lu jin about sorry...hahaha..what a wonderful and memorable ending with all the couples..

I really don't want this drama to end. PLease give us season 2.

Another one add to my list of all time favorite drama. The reason that I love this drama so much, is that no one was trying to steal anyone's boyfriend. There was no underhanded dirty tricks. It was just fun and very nice to see that for once. I would love to see more dramas like this.

I really like how he doesn't pass his father's hatred to his brother. He let everything go. And finally his mom accept Gu shegnan

I truly loved this drama. Both of the lead's are so talented. and plot is smooth.. Of course they're couple and there will be misunderstandings but i love how he understand her and knew everything. understanding each other is the main goal of a relationship. and telling how you feel. even though they some kept secrets but they both knew it was for good. that's why it was so satisfiying to watch. I never had that kind of relationship. It was always so toxic. It feels nice to watch this drama.

In the beginning I was so hesitate to watch. Turn out this is one of the best drama. ML and FL have very strong chemistry and both play very well. Kudos to the writer! Its beautifully written. The comedy and romance blending together so well. Perfect! I will definitely watch it again.

The way i cried when she asjed if his mom finally approved of her😭 I've been a fan of Lusi for years and i expected nothing less from her acting but i have to give credits to her costar he did a wonderful job portraying his emotions just his eyes and body language alone i felt everything he was feeling. Their onscreen chemistry is also amazing we all need a lujin in our lives 🥰he is so patient and mature he also knows how to handle her personality perfectly. I cant believe i shelved this for so long but i guess that happens when there is so much to watch, i would def rewatch this when I'm in my feels👏🏻🎬

the ending with all the couples was a bit awkward and forced... li man and zi xuan?? and the uncle's mystery other half's appearance.. but i love how they brought back the car scene and put a sweet twist to it!! i love this drama!! good plot, good acting, very enjoyable 24 episodes!

I loved this movie. Every actor made me feel that they were really living their part. Each couple truly matched with each other and was truly believable. The comedy fit in extremely well and the love scenes were so well done that nothing extra needed to be added. Thank you for making a movie that a whole family could watch without being embarrassed about what they might see. The music and words were wonderful and fit very well with the script. I would love to watch another movie with everyone of these actors again. After reading several of the other comments in this section, I agree with every word they used to praise this wonderful entertaining film. Thank you so much for putting it on RU-vid.

Happy ending for everyone. But I would of liked them to show us Shengnan knowing that LZ used her. I like that LJ apologise to LZ,but LZ should apologise to LJ n Shengnan also. Shengnan also needs to apologise to LJ,because she mess up bad In the previous episode. All we needed was a double wedding n babies.
