Everything starts during the golden times, ancient times that when we are talking about being a "host" or "hostess" it means someone who entertains; giving drinks, talking and giving jolly talks to lonely men(which are more acceptable by the society before).. Why I'm talking like this? It's because I'm comparing hostess/host from the past to working host in the present times..in this series, wela is misjudged, scrutinized and somehow bullied of what the type of job he works cause he is a club's host.. Society before and now thinks the same- treating working as a host is as dirty as a prostitute.. though there is a little similar yet different.. there's no sex involved when you are a legit host..and it's not good, actually, it demoralize a person's dignity. I hope in this series,it will open not just the mind but also the heart to accept and understand. If there's only other way to earn money that is much easier(which is the huge reason why this job exists!) aside from having being a college degree holder, they would never take this job..but because of despair and such urgency that leaves no other choice but to take it.. Thank you GMMTV you're the chance you gave to bl fans and enthusiast for this kind of eye-opening series emphasizing the importance of open mindedness of anything and everything including love..
