The drama depicts the love story of Bai Feng Jiu and Dong Hua Di Jun, that spans 2000 years. Feng Jiu, the queen of Qing Qiu, is the only red nine-tailed fox in Qing Qiu and thus being pampered by everyone. She loves to cry and to throw tantrums but is also persistent and brave. One day, when Feng Jiu is in the mountains for cultivation, a beast attacks her. Luckily, the former Emperor of Heaven Dong Hua passes by at this moment and saves her. To pay the debt of gratitude, Feng Jiu follows Dong Hua who goes to fight the rebelling Demon Lord. Feng Jiu soon realizes that gratitude has turned into love, however, Dong Hua already forgot what love is. In order to keep her safe, Dong Hua sends Feng Jiu to the mortal realm, but the guardian he sends together with her unexpectedly dies. While trying to find the immortal fruit that can let her be reborn, Feng Jiu enters the temple of the ghost princess.

I have watched several dramas over the year. This one have me wanting more. The next series need to be Third Prince, (so the Crown Prince Ye Hua, God Bai Quian, Dong Hua, Xiaobai can come back) Something with the little adults A-Li and Gungun and other children. Wishful thinking I know but the chemistry of the lead actor and actress for a fantasy drama are unmatched..👍👍👍👍👍

🤩ABSOLUTELY MARVELOUS...SUPERB...BRAVO!!! Thanks to the actors, actress, director, and crew for this beautiful drama. It was such a magnificent performance. BF loved DH so much to die beside him. It was so beautiful when she told him not to push her away and he put his guard down to allow her love to shine. Gao did such an EXCELLENT job with the characters. Each one he played had their own distinctive presence in how they expressed their emotions. Dilraba was absolutely STUNNING in her portrayal of loyal, passionate, and faithful BF. The ending with Gungun was touching.🥰 Liu was also great at playing passionate Yan...his excitement in this episode was unmatched! THANK YOU SO MUCH for the translation!!!😊

I think this drama needs a prequel that covers Dong Hua and Mao Lu's relationship over the past however many hundred thousand or million years. Mao Lu's obsession with destroying Dong Hua, and her hint that Dong Hua made her into what she is, suggests that Mao Lu may have been madly obsessed and in love with Dong Hua. Her unrequited love for Dong Hua finally transformed her into a demon obsessed with destroying Dong Hua's world and anyone he cherishes. It's like Zeus and Hera story in Greek mythology. The drama is well done, and covers various outcomes of obsession. The producers and directors have done a splendid job with building out various clans such that anyone of them could have their own drama series. Though it is a pity they did not bring in some of the main characters from Eternal Love during key moments. There are also various stereotypes suggested and interesting psychology around human behavior. Is love yet another form of greed and/or obsession? What happens when the desire that drives your life is unfulfilled, or frustrated? What kind of demons plague your mind, actions? How do you manage when events occur too quickly for you to process, and you rush to tragic misunderstandings and outcomes.

Find the other books. But find the non official translation. I have not read them. There are also little tibits from the author, funny little things. And I am not sure if it's a short story but they talk about Xiobai traveling to when Dinjun was a young general. I have not read it,.except the little shorts. You may find them just googling the name of the series and adding non official translation.
