Japanese's cookings always look amazing... Except the burnt croquette lol Hoshikawa casually roasting British's foods, understandable. Even some British people hates the foods too xD 8:05 Lmao, I guess Hoshikawa prefers having Sugar daddy like -Kanae- Yumeoi 😂
i've heard a lot british people saying british cuisines taste bland, but is it that bad? i don't know what british cuisines are and never eat them tho so i dont know
I've heard that it's that bad because in there was a french prince(?) that couldn't handle spices, so he wanted salt and pepper as the ONLY seasoning on his food. And one thing led to a another. That's why british food is bland
The worst part is, even when you have bland food, you can have fresh flavors. Fresh salad or fruit. But their stuff is all preserved and canned and mushed. So even the texture is bland. It's so sad.
English’s food is rather generic. If you have had fish and chips, pies, roast beef, banger and mash (sausage and mashed potato), English breakfast, that’s probably all of the English dishes you would know, except for one. Curry is an English invention, by Indians who lives in England, as a way to appeal to the British taste. As a result, Japanese curry is just a derivation of that, meaning that’s also English food. You won’t see “English” restaurant, because their food is generic. Their influence all over the world is such that their food can be found anywhere, so most people can happily consume “British” food, without knowing that they are British. I like British food actually. Home cooking other cuisines might be a little challenging. However, since the British is more of a hand to mouth food culture, it’s simple, straight forward and easy to make. I think it’s very easy to eat as well. I make confit duck once a year at most, but banger and mash, pies and especially curry is a staple in my household on a weekend.
@@lc9245 im sorry but curry itself is not british. curry POWDER was made in england, but original curry dishes still originate from India/surrounding areas. the curry leaf itself originates from india and has been in use LONG before the british came to colonize india. "british influence" my ass lol its the british who colonized half the world took influences from other countries... and even then none of their food is even half as good. this is such a weirdly biased view it's mind boggling...
