This time I'm staying at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo.
The room is a 42㎡ Imperial Floor Deluxe Park View King Room on the 14th floor.
The room had a nice view of Hibiya Park and the Imperial Palace Gardens from the window.
Imperial floor benefits include guest attendant service, beverage service, access to the fitness pool, shoe shine, and newspaper service.
The tower building will close at the end of June, and reconstruction work will begin.

I have stayed at the Imperial Tokyo many times through out the years both in main and tower sections. I have been through earthquakes and typhoons while staying at the Imperial. It is a true 5 star experience. Impeccable service, restaurants, bars and rooms. The lobby is one of the best spaces in the entire hospitality industry. It is iconic when you see the lobby it is instantly recognizable as the Imperial Tokyo. We looked at the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo once but there was no comparison. When I visit Tokyo I stay at the Imperial!

日比谷の帝国ホテルの壁に使われているのは、確かにオーク材（樫）です。その優しい質感は、多くの人々に愛される理由の一つでしょうね。帝国ホテルは日本のホテルの中でも歴史的な建造物の一つであり、上質な素材を使った内装や装飾が特徴です。そのため、オーク材が使われているのも納得ですね。また、第１４代レジェンド料理長の杉本雄料理長が統括されている、レストランの数々の料理も逸品ぞろいです。m(__)mm(__)mm(__)m

こういうホテルに宿泊したり出入りするにあたっては、服装なども考えるし、料金の面から言っても、とても普段づかいはできない。でも、一度泊まったり、宿泊せずとも、レストランでお食事するような、生活のグレードアップをはかりたいな、と、思うこともあります。今は、京都の都ホテルが、いちばん自分としては気に入っているし、肩はらずに入れます。
