I see. Different insight then, I appreciate that. I think this “debate” just goes to show that each person has their own way of assessing the situation and their own feelings and how they would react. There wasn’t anymore background/context of the “intent” to separate the perilla leaves tbh so it’s really up to the individuals imagination and subjective reasoning. Me personally - I just enjoy watching idols answers and reasoning on this. Petty as it may but it kinda gives me an insight on how they think and what their personality types are. At the very least I get to know them more hehe. Just me tho. It can be different for others. I for one had the same answer as Jhope from BTS. ☺️

I think Koreans are over sensitive when it comes to these issues. Like why tf is helping someone a problem? Korea has such a big issue with toxic jealousy it’s shocking. I also share the same opinion with Jhope, where he said that since we trust each other there’s no problem. But if I was put into this situation and my lover pulled this bulcrap and got mad, I’d not let it fly. Either they get rid of the toxicity and understand how stupid and toxic this is, or they suppress it, cuz I don’t want to be in a toxic relationship where every single move, to the point of literally helping another person, can be seen as an issue
