How can you stay mad at Jing? He's just so pure and innocent. Smart and good at strategizing. Love that he's sweet and sincere when it comes to his love for Xiaoyao. But, one of his biggest problems is he is too soft-hearted. He said, his grandmother understands how he feels when it comes to his engagement, but that right there just shows how soft-hearted and trusting he is. The more I watch this series, the more I see and understand he is torn between his love for Xiaoyao and his so-called family. He loves Xiaoyao more than anything and wants to be with her forever. The downside about that though is his evil family. They want to control him, by having him marry a girl who doesn't give a darn about him. Who is sleeping with his brother who has been jealous of him all his life. He tells his grandmother how he feels, but she still keeps pushing him toward someone he doesn't love and doesn't love him. It's no wonder and understandable why he thinks about, follows, and wants to be with Xiaoyao all the time. She is the happiness and peace in his life. She gives him the love and care he doesn't get from his family.
You are right. tushan jing really likes xiaoyao very much. He helps Xiaoyao in everything, more than he can do. He obeys everything Xiaoyao says without asking a single question, trusts Xiaoyao, and does everything he can for Xiaoyao's safety even after being away. But I wish there was someone who could understand him in this drama. On one hand, his family loves their promise more than his happiness, his brother has been feeling jealous of his own brother all his life, his future wife, who feels disgusted after seeing the scars of his wound . And on the other hand, Xiaoyao, for whom Tushan Jing is ready to give his life, gets angry without knowing it and even agrees to talk, but she talks to help her brother in his business. Don't know what else will happen in this drama.
OMG - the "Drawing a Picture with Poison" Scene is THE cutest accidential Kiss I've seen so far in any C-Drama (and I saw quite a lot risiculous ones as Well 😊)! Ahhh - it is Heart Melting!!! ❤❤❤
I swear.....Every moment between Xiao Yao and Xiang Liu always give me butterflies. Their chemistry is just.... Heartfluttering. It feels so dangerous to ship them.😩

This is my favorite episode! The part when she comb his hair. They're both so sweet together. Tushan Jing is definitely my dream man. When you're young you want that passionate toxic love like with Xiang Liu. But the wiser you get, the more you want someone dependable and stable like Tushan Jing. Kudos to the writer for his character. I love it so much!
This episode pleased me a lot. My Tu shan jing and Xioa Yao were perfect. I love how she blushed, got angry at him. My gosh i love his cute smile. I cannot believe how Tu shan Jing is helping CX but Chen F is getting all the credits.
The plot of making them believe that he becomes an unruly Prince of Xiyan was quite perfect. Cang Xuan’s pretending to be one is outstanding. His emotionless face and expression on his outstanding. Fenglong, Tushan Jing and Cang’s plan is working? To be exiled to Central Plains. The love between Princess of Haoling Xioayao/Yang Zi and Tushan Jing/Deng Wei is remarkably pure BUT the Bad Boy Xiang Liu/FangLeng Bei /Tang Jianci is back with a mask and making an alluring move to Xiaoyao❤so intense.
Tushan Jing already knows Xuan is using him AND is fine with it. He used him at the canal shipping office and Jing was fine with that. That is the whole reason Jing came that day was to help Xuan in his new position. Jing is not stupid because both men already talked to each other about Jing helping Xuan out in all different ways. Xuan hates him because Xuan is romantically in love with his sister/cousin Yao and has been since they were children. And of course he doesn't want her emotionally hurt anymore. The actors in the series are very good. I love it when the lead actress smiles sheepishly in some situations even when her life is on the line or when she is sad she squeezes a smile still.
Difference between Xiangliu and Jing is that Jing has a strategy for love he keep on spying, reminding, promising Xiaoyao so that she doesnot forget him... She kept memories of Xiangliu in the mirror, making delicious poisons for him Xiangliu never spies, promises or reminds her anything even delete his memories so that she can live freely without missing him.. Love can't be forced!
I really hope Xiang Liu is the main lead. This man sacrafices a lot. He's just an ideal man to be the main lead! Moreover, with a wild nature of XY, having a cold, calm and fierce partner (opposite personality) would keep her in check. They would make a wholesome couple. 😢
Xiangliu is also the main lead but he dies on battlefield... they knows they can't be together coz they are nemesis, they have different paths and goals in life so they never chased each other... It was never a onesided love but Both self sabotaged their love... 😭

I am amazed that the actor Tan Jiaci is a skinny little guy almost afeminate yet he can project such a strong, viril present on the drama. And this drama is just a regular drama without him
He may be smaller than the other 2 actors but looking at his singing and stage presence he has an extremely charismatic personality..easy to smile and can really dance. Which can be seen in the way he moves in this drama ..such an interesting person it looks like❤
Xuan eyes when he stare at XiaoYao bedroom window omg that was killing eyes. Jing may look weak but he is a strategist. Without him, Xuan would not suceed as king. Xuan love XiaoYao but he use her to get power. I hope he does not turn bad in season 2. Jing love for XiaoYao is so pure without any motive, glad she chose to love him. I just hope that she know XiangLu love for her too
Xuan has the potential to be very evil. His callous cruelty towards Xiaoyao before he knew who she was(breaking her legs so she couldn't escape) shows how little compassion for others he has. When you have little to no compassion everyone is just a tool for you to use to obtain what you want and the end justifies the means.

For those few who still just haven't figured it out yet that Xuan is romantically in love with his "sister'-cousin and has been since childhood. She is just not with him. That is not only cousin/brother protection but jealous hate for Jing as well.
He didn't think sexually of Xiao Yao or their childhood promise of marriage so seriously (he just wanted his sister and only family back) UNTIL he saw Xiao Yao's real face. I'm paraphrasing but in the novel it says, "Zhuan Xu/Cang Xuan wasn't stupid; he knew what had changed in how he viewed XY in that moment."
@@anisatajy9445 Well, I don't mean to be rude but I in a way don't really care what was written in the novels. I just want to simply watch the series and take them from there. I tried to read some of them and there was so much that was different comparing costume dramas and their novels it ruined it for me to keep thinking "this was different" then the novel. Sometimes the novels were much more boring and worse then the series. AS far as how he felt for her as children I'm thinking he wasn't understanding it as being romantical love then. But I stick by my comment that he had already developed more feelings for her then cousin-sister. Children can romantically love someone and never think one bit about being "sexual" at that age. That comes when they are going through puberty. Doesn't mean it wasn't child love beyond cousins/siblings.

Anyway, as for the novel, this is one case where I can say the drama did justice to the source, even fleshed out some characters even better (XL and CX). I would highly recommend reading the novel as I read it before my first watch, then read it line by line with the second watch and it made the experience even better. Helps a lot with reading in between the lines and knowing some stuff the drama watchers might miss or not know. This third rewatch, I'm catching some easter eggs the production put, and its another treat for me! Anyway, I'm saying I love this story to bits. I NEED SEASON 2 SOOOOONN!!
@@anisatajy9445 Yeah, I always try to watch these series twice, close enough to each other so I can catch what i missed the first time while closely paying attention to the subtitles. I just don't know how people can watch Asian shows and not turn them down to the actual realistic speed of .75 in then setting. AND I enlarge the text to 150% if too small. LOL I am also looking forward to season 2 a lot!!!
a certain level of jealousy yes (he doesn’t know he is in love with her yet) but mostly it’s because of how important she is to him and how crushed she was when she found out Shi Qi true identity because he had kept it hidden from her all that time. she hid her identity because she was being hunted down, he hid his identity because he didn’t want to fulfill his marital arrangement. Cang Xuan knows that Tushan Jing cannot make her happy and keep her safe something that Cang Xuan has running through his blood, his long time bond with her.

xiaoyao only loves jing .. she loves her brother /cousin just as a sibling.. but bai is abusive towards xiaoyao but he is softening with time ..but he is not a safe bet for a husband.. Jing is just so soft hearted and will always be .. unless something happens to change that ..he is right for xiaoyao..
With due respect to the whole team making this movie, but can you kindly show us the whole episode rather than releasing it clip by clip rather than keeping me in suspense. I may not understand the reason why but the thing is when I want to watch a movie not to mention, a very interesting movie like this one, I want to watch the whole episode from the beginning till the end. Releasing it clip by clip kind of takes away my interest. The only reason why I hang on is because I love to watch the Princess and the 9 head demon. Their relationship is so cool. So please, can you release the whole episode? lol to you all.

Cang Xuan is clever joining an alliance with the Chishui family but his jealousy towards Jing is growing will Cang Xuan abandoned Xiaoyu? Only because of her conversation with her grandfather about marriage. I believe Jing loves Xiaoyu unconditionally but too soft hearted I don't believe his grandmother is trying to help him she's just as cut throat as the rest of them.
I know that Tushan Jing is perfect for Xiao Yao, he is a sweetheart! But I am more attracted to Xiang Liu 😭. My heart already aches for him knowing that he won’t end up together with her.
Just start watching this i got lost when watching 3 full episode. Im not sure what episode im at but Xioayo character change when she is not disguised like male . who is she in love with @ 12:18 she act like she into him lol her role is always between 2-3 guy.. hopefully nine head demon is her favorite
