Zhang Wanyi was a perfect casting choice for Cang Xuan. Feel like Xuan's depression/powerlessness to keep XY at his side is going to make him go nuts at some point during the rest of the series.
My favorite character in this series is Xiang Liu but anyway, upon watching more of the episodes I fully understand that this series Lost You Forever is about Cang Xuan and Xiao Yao. As I remember in season 1, Cang Xuan and Xiao Yao struggled during their childhood in which most of their love ones died and they both get separated from each other, that is why Cang Xuan wants to become a King, he believed that once he become a King he will be able to protect the family that is left for him aside from the grandfather specifically Xiao Yao. Cang Xuan wants to be a King to protect his family Xiao Yao, he wanted to create a world to protect Xiao Yao but once he become a King there are a lot of sacrifices and decisions he has to make and along the journey of chasing his goals he lost Xiao Yao that is why its titled Lost You forever. Cang Xuan is the King, but he can never make make Xia Yao as his Queen. Cang Xuan loves Xiao Yao but Xiao Yao loves him as her brother. Xiang Liu loves Xiao Yao but is not willing to abandon his responsibility, but Xiang Liu did everything for Xiao Yao to be with Ye Shiqi because he knows Ye Shiqi will be the best for Xiao Yao while Xiao Yao loves Ye Shiqi and no matter what Xia Yao will always choose to be with Ye Shiqi. This series is truly heartbreaking. The best Cdrama for me in 2024. All the characters played their roles very well of course specially my favorite character Xiang Liu played by Tan Jian Ci, second is Cang Xuan he played his role very well.
I agree with you on some things, but gradually, as time goes by, as they watch more episodes of this drama, I think that the name of this drama is not only associated with Xiao Yao and Xiyan Cang Xuan, but also with Xiao Yao and Xiang Liu and Xiao Yao and Tushan Jing. Because everyone loves her in their own way and will lose everyone, some for a while, some forever. Tushan J. is the easiest choice for Xiao Y. and that is why they are together. Yes, Xiao Y. loves Tushan J., but after watching the next episode, it became clear to me that if Xiang Liu gives up his duties, she will be with him.

I think it's Cang Xuan, who lost Xiao yao forever. He wanted power but lost the person he loves forever. His Grandfather understood that. The way he always keeps a vigilant eye whenever CX affectionately looks at XY😂😂😂😂

He should have slept w the queen. He made his bed; he needs to lie in it. I would be pissed if my husband embarrassed me like that. Jeez! The main point is to have children that represent the whole kingdom. Once that happens, the queen won't be as signicant. It is obvious to me that fl is bored now. She needs her own righteous cause.
I am so happy that the girl is by Jing's side. Besides Xiaoyao, she's the only one who cares about him in this story. Also, I'm proud of Jing. He's teaching the child right from wrong. Teaching him respect and not to be like his mother. Also, I don't blame Jing for what he did. Secretly doing a DNA test to find out the truth. He had every right to do that. According to his maid and the guy who did the DNA test, it looks like his so-called family has been hiding and doing a lot of things behind his back that he doesn't know about. Especially when it comes to the child.
Poor Cangxuan! Understand the situation now of those kings of yesteryears inorder to forge alliance or keep peace married daughters of alliance members to stayed in power n peace though even without love.

Also, I knew Cang Xuan and that girl would end up together one way or another. That kiss they had in season 1, you can't deny there was something there. I thought the two actors had chemistry in season 1, to be honest. I know Cang Xuan married her because even though he loves Xiaoyao and wants her to be his queen... his one and only, somewhere deep down he knows that will never be. As much as it hurts him, he knows she's in love with someone else. He knows she will only see him as a brother and nothing more.
I was thinking the same thing. Her jealousy will prompt her to be evil when managing the harem in my opinion. She doesn't want to share him but he already has concubines etc.. He really loves Xiao the most and next to her the other one he thinks of as a sister. He doesn't love her at all. Just saw her throw a fit because he was walking in the woods instead of coming to her so she is even jealous of trees. Not a good sign. I hope she doesn't burn down that area. She is just the type to do it.
Really like xiao yao. But feeling bad for all her pursuers. They all deserve better. I hope xiaoyao gets her love at the end. She really deserve to be loved. I hope jing can find the truth and xiao Liu, cx can be brave to move forward. We should also be strong as we are already touched by these three episodes. I hope we audience can get a better and happy ending what we want for xiaoyao. Come on xiaoyao. You are best❤
Am I the only one who thinks there should be a sequel for this drama where the cycle of an enemy general and a princess fall inlove and end up dead or one dying is broken…We would be able enjoy the 🔥 chemistry + explore XL’s shapeshifting powers! It would be a hit show indeed! Please make it happen!❤
Cang xuan smile when xiaoyao dis agree on their grandfather 's idea on marrying ms chenrong was fiull of hope but when he hears the reason you could see that he felt sad😢
I did not like his character from the start. Remember how he treated Xiaoyao when he thought she was a man his cruelty showed itself from that point on
Who else felt like this episode was too short 🥲🥹 it’s getting even better I don’t have to skip parts every few seconds. That xuan loves Yao but unfortunately he let his greed to become king affect any chances with her as well as the fact she only think of him as her brother no other affection is there. I still don’t think any of them quite fit her. The abuser is just too much for his self. Then the coward had every opportunity to put his foot down with his grandmother but he did not. She should just find other options 🥴

Even if he doesn’t love her he should respect her as his Queen. He should have spent his wedding night with her, not doing so is so disrespectful. Season 1 he knew she liked him and wanted to be his queen. He played on those feeling s to get what he wanted from her family, so he should at least be respectful and treat her well.

no it is not Xuan’s fault. she is already a poisonous person with out him. he made it clear to her he cannot and will not love her. she thinks that she can change him and she (and her family) has a lust for power before she was even given the edict to become queen. her selfishness and evilness were already establish inside of her growing up. she already knew his heart was gone no one hid that from her. he did right by not entering the bridal chamber, he is staying true to his heart.
What made the Emperor think the FL wanted to marry into his Royal Harem when she was unforgiving when the 2nd ML impregnated another woman (he didn’t🤫) How many women do he already have in his harem?😳 Plus she would’ve a target on her because he can’t hide his love for her. The king thinks about the nation first and himself last. Otherwise he would not encourage this marriage as cx really does not like her. He respects his concubines more than xinyue. She will be a disastrous queen as she really doesn’t have any queenly qualities.
Xiao Yao’s identity will cause complications. I don’t know if the Zhong yuan clans will accept her since they seem to really want to distance with Xiao Yao’s real father.
