I'm actually writing this comment after viewing the whole drama as I know a lot of people look at the comments before viewing. I started watching C dramas in January this year (2021) and have watched just over 30 historical dramas. I had not heard of this drama and just stumbled across it in my RU-vid feed last week. I had only seen three of the actors previously. I think that this drama is quite extraordinary on many levels. The most oustanding features for me are the relationships between the 7 main characters and the servant Bai Mo, the strong themes and imagery. The ensemble acting between this group of talented actors is phenomenal and is due to great writing, direction and ofcourse the skills of the actors themselves. The themes of friendship, loyalty, love, loss, grief, power and greed are portrayed strongly through the dialogue, gestures and actions. The imagery is beautifully displayed in the visuals, lyrics and dialogues. The cinematography, settings, costumes and excellent fighting scenes add to make an excellent production. I definitely recommend this drama. It was (for me anyway) a hidden and unexpected gem.

Even if this drama is not very popular in China, everyone who has seen it says it's really good drama, high quality, but I'm surprised to see so many foreign friends here. hope you can see it with eng subs soon.

Unexpectedly a fantastic series. Storyline is condense with no fillers. Photography and sound system very artistic. All the actors did a convincing job. Thoroughly enjoyable.

优秀！！！真的太优秀了。很久没有看过这么引人入胜的剧了。剧情进展很快，服装布景都很好，人物形象也都很惊喜，就连特效都很逼真。我之前点进来很多次，都被最初的看头部分劝退，但是！不出五分钟，我就被吸引了。

这部剧豆瓣评分8.3，良心剧组，剧本新颖，演员和导演也很不错，用有限的资金拍出了精品。这剧该火，可惜钱都用在拍摄了，宣发跟不上。喜欢这部剧的人去豆瓣评五星啊！

Thank you Tencent for uploading all 43 episodes. This is the best of the best Chinese ancient costume drama I ever watched without skipping any scenes. ZQC is a lovely brilliant smart handsome doctor with a cute bourgeois temperament and his wife SYL is pretty, brave, kind and intelligent. Director Mao Kun Yu is very good, the screen writer Wu Tong is brilliant, Producer is amazing. All actors and actresses played well their roles, especially Zhang Yao and Zhang Yaqin, this Zhang young couple played so good, both have the power charisma making the audience falling in love with them. Highly recommended to watch all episodes without skipping any scenes.

Highly recommend 👍 A fairly good production with a good script， if you’re looking for action & drama you won’t be disappointed! 雖然演員們都沒什麼知名度，但算是一部有深度的制作，演員們都很給力，他們實在難得。👏👏 這部電視劇到目前為止算是相當不錯的（看了8集了）節奏緊湊又不托泥帶水，戲中的對白癈話並不多，更難得的是沒有女孩＂大哭大叫＂的低級配音😆 希望愈來愈精彩！

先不说剧情和人设，这剧的摄影真的爱了。演员的颜值也是清新自然，很耐看。演技虽不是老戏骨那挂，但是绝不拉垮，人物形象和性格都立住了。再吹一嘴ost，一般我看电视剧片头和片尾直接跳过，然而现在我都不跳了，太有侠骨柔情那味儿了。

這劇拍得超讚，氣氛佈局也精彩，雖然演員比較陌生，但追了幾集後也覺得愈來愈不錯，最少不會有討厭的感覺。導演的說故事技巧很不錯。值得推薦。 好看。 愈看後面，愈是覺得出色，此劇比月下重火還要好看。我認為是今年其中一部值得追看的劇集。

Muitas pessoas preferem colocar defeitos em detalhes tão pequenos, podendo apreciar essa beleza de drama! Qual não tem pontas soltas? Qual não fica sem algumas pequenas explicações? Qual série já não terminou com um final que não agradou a todos? Quem disse que dramas só podem ser atuados por atores e atrizes lindos e de rosto perfeito? Pra que ser negativo e colocar tantos contras nessa obra de arte? Pra mim, na minha humilde opinião, se os produtores explorassem mais a estória e acrecentassem mais capítulos, nao acharia ruim não, nem um pouco! Acho até que ainda tinha material pra mais! Mas sei também que as produções dependem de muitas coisas, que envolvem orçamento, patrocínio, horário, locação, tempo de Tv, agendas dos atores,etc... Mas enfim! Não sejam tóxicos com esse ótimo drama, que apesar de quaisquer detalhes que não agrada a todos, ainda assim, é uma das mais bonitas estórias que já tive o prazer de assistir! The 1st time seeing female lead distinguishes as a boy with very convincing make up. This drama become one top of my list to watch . The story line also quite interesting. Luckily I speak one of the language on the list, but I wish soon will have English translation for international viewers .

剛看完大結局，來說說意見。這部劇的配套很高格調，畫風有電影質感，有點90年代徐克武俠電影或楊佩佩武俠劇的影子，導演很努力，演員也不錯。只可惜劇情在中段讓人覺得雞肋，後段混亂，編劇有很大進步空間，男女感情線一言難盡，幸好有两對副CP 補位。在甜寵劇當道的今天，這部劇是特別存在，如果大家想看一下武俠劇的話，我還是推薦的，製作團隊也很有誠意。

I just finished The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty and was blown away. I hope the same happens for me here in Love in Between. People have praised it for being really good. I hope I am not disappointed.

Su Yun Lou doesn’t deserve Dr Zuo’s unconditional love & care. He does so many things for her but all she cares about is her Master. She is willing to kill Zuo to save her Master. Zuo doesn’t know martial arts but he is very smart & use his wit to solve many situations & problems. First time seeing both leads. Good acting, good storyline. I always thought “Wu Xia” ( martial heroes”) fight for justice & help & protect the weak ones. But in this drama, some of the “Wu Xia” fights for power & greed. I would recommend this drama 👍 even though it’s a big long (43ep). Enjoy 😀

我看了網上很多人推薦此劇，所以前2天才開始看（昨晚為止看到第20集），劇情緊湊（雖然有少少瑕疵），武打埸面拍得好，劇內的幾條感情線鋪排自然又有揪心位（最開心係《冇》男女主角轉圈圈及對視👏😅），可惜1,2女主角唔够靚女，平實了點（我絕無詆毀之意🙏🙏），但好在越睇越順眼，演技也漸入佳境，男主也唔錯，反之《文渡主》又幾好喎，另一男男 CP又有少許驚喜，祝各位演員更上一層樓，加油💓👍❗

This is an amazing ;interesting martial arts story , the plot and cast are excellent, no over acting ,over makeup actors and actresses. 我又想唠叨几句，感慨现在的大陸剧充斥着那些脑残内容，靠一批油头粉脸，化浓妆，动作誇张皮笑肉不笑的偶像明星充流量，没有内涵的仙侠，什天神，三生三世情缘故事。说实话我也没看过，除了看了一小段的宣传片就放棄。 话说回来一寸相思没有什么宣传，冲着豆瓣评分7•9才吸引了我。看了第一集感觉不错，带有“古龙”色彩与作风，认真把它看完。 故事里的江湖各大门派，武林正道与其盟主不外乎是一些阴险狡诈，说一套作一套的伪君子，让我联想到当今世界格局先进国家的弱肉強食。再者此剧宣扬忠，义，爱。囯将不囯何来江湖，杀身成仁舍身取义。 除了忠义，剧里表达男女爱情也很自然，一点都不恶心。剧里的四对情侣，除了左郎中与云落，文宗主与沈曼青外，长哥与姜儿，鬼童子与沐师姑都眴情。他们都是死生契阔，与子成说，执子之手，与子偕老。 剧里男女主角都很年轻，不像有些电视剧让大妈大叔演二十来岁人。配角们与主角的演技可圈可点，都很自然。演员们的妆化得也不浓，没有那种油头粉脸的感觉。女主角还算是清秀可爱，男主角不是很帅但还算清俊儒雅，非常适合剧里的左郞中。文宗主也是俊朗帅气沈曼青也娇俏可人。整体看来还像是一股清流。
