Deaf person here, I’m so glad to see deaf kpop group, definitely stanning them ❤

I’m happy that having a hearing impairment that doesn’t necessarily mean you’re fully deaf is being seen as just as important now. As someone who only wears a hearing aid in their right ear too (like Hyun Jin!), I’ve had a lot of trouble throughout school with others not seeing it as a disability and refusing to help me with it. I hope this K-pop group helps show how important it is to see partial hearing loss as just as important as being fully deaf, no matter who the person is. Thank you so much for being here from now on BigOcean💙and helping so many people like me

Sign language is a beautiful language. I'm hopeful this group will enlighten the hearing and encourage others to get out there and show the world how wonderful it is to learn a new way to enjoy music and dance.

As someone who knows ASL and worked as an interpreter I am so so excited for their debut!!! I hope this will show people that Deaf can do anything except hear!!!!!

I never thought I'd see the day when there were disabled idols! I've been a fan of kpop for almost 11 years and it's great to see others with disabilities on stage!

Hyun Jin's English melted my heart ㅠㅠ and the way Chan Yeon speaks is soooo adorable, he really is a cutie ㅠㅠㅠ I also love that Ji Seok was so confident in leading some of the conversation, I can already feel the oldest maknae energy! Guys, congratulations on your debut!

Beautiful...I really hope the best for them. My son is 24 years old and partially deaf: 100% deaf on his left ear and 45% hearing on his right side-I know how hard he worked to graduate from Veterinarian Medicine. We did not want him to get used to artificial hearing(it sounds selfish and cruel) but, I wanted him to decide for himself when he was old enough to chose it. So far he chooses not to because it's easier for him to just go-he says. It's funny because our son used to say that he feels like he hears moving water in his ears---Their group's name is "Big Ocean". I just forwarded this video to him and want to see what he thinks. I think these guys are amazing-- Break a leg-Guys❤❤❤

I'm a person who thinks Sign Language should be a MUST in school. It's part of diversity, we live in the same country, we speak the same language but why we can't communicate? Learning the basic of LS of your language it's really helpful. I did and It change completely the way I look to others now. We need to empathized more with each other This is an amazing opportunity for this boys and I hope the best for them! I will be following this project ❤

I said no more stanning any more groups and I was doing well since March 6th, but I REALLY THINK that's gunna change on April 20th. 😅 Hyunjin is so cute. What makes them more interesting is because of the hearing impairments. The reason I clicked on this is because of that bit. Disabilities don't affect me and I would love to see some choreo or song chants with sign language in. 😍

I am a teacher for children with hearing disabilities and I am very happy because now Kpop is inclusive, thanks big ocean 🌊 for giving us the opportunity to see and listen to your music

As someone who has bilateral cochlear implants this so, so cool to me. Kpop had already become a genre that has made me feel included because even though I have cochlear implants I can't hear English songs until I look up the lyrics. Before then I couldn't tell what language the song was in. Because of this I always felt left out because people would play music around me and I couldn't hear it. I couldn't sing along unless I knew the words. When I discovered Kpop I found it was a genre that so many people didn't know the words to. For the first time it felt like people knew how I felt every day. I no longer felt left out. This group is a step further in a genre that has already made me feel included. This group is of people who are hearing impaired just like me. This is just really special and I'm so glad this group exists. It genuinely makes me tear up with joy. Thank you Big Ocean. You have no idea how much your existence means to me. I will forever be grateful for you. 🩵

I feel bad for Seunghyun that had to leave the K-Pop group Celest1a due to sudden hearing loss. Maybe they should see if he wanted to join their group so that he doesn't have to give up on his dream.

This is the first time I’ve heard of these guys and I’m really excited for them. It said that they were debut April 20 so I guess that’s tomorrow. I really want to see these guys succeed in the industry. I can imagine it's been so hard for them to have felt so disadvantaged over something they can't change or control. You guys reminded me of my old dream 😭 I have always always wanted to learn sign language in order to skillfully communicate with people who are challenged in hearing and speech. I wanted to, ever since I was young.... and now I'm on my last few years of my 20s.. unfortunately, I haven't had nor created opportunities to do so.
