I really appreciate the feedback! Yeah, I took inspiration from the "let's play" format for both this and pt 1 and used quite a few editing tricks to make it seem linearly cohesive. I'll definitely play around with more information highlighting and repetition. Thanks!

Whoa, this editing is reaaly nice. The text blends in so well that i half think they there for real like the translations of the minecraft chat lol. I like the japanese sentences above the subtitles as well, since im still practicing, it helps a lot! One of the best edits ive seen! Keep up the great work!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :) I use Premiere pro for the editing, TextEdit for the subbing and timing, and Handbrake for the final encoding. If you're looking for a good free editor though, Davinci Resolve is at the same level (though don't ask me which is better lol, it's the editor equivalent of pineapple on pizza).

For some reason I'm getting recommended several clips of old events. Translators are doing a re-do of popular clips? The work on this is really good.

Could be because there used to be a really popular (almost singular) subbing channel that removed all its content for political reasons (as ransom effectively). The community effectively laughed and took up the slack. Now there are dozens of really good fan sub sources --- they might be going back and redoing old content that was 'lost' due to the channel in question.
