13:23 She was laughing because in her mind she translated it to "You came." So "Bastos" in this context is "Perverted". So the whole "perverted" double meaning name is "You came in my room."
it's even funnier since "Ikaw ay pumunta sa aking kwarto" just translates to "You went to my room" but she just have to make it as a perverted line... xD
Nalala ko pa noong uso pa yung "Jonel" meme sa Laila De Lima case, Practice pa noon ng moving up ceremony namin sa Junior High. Yung kaibigan ko pangalan niya Romel. Parang di ko kailangan pang tapusin alam niyo na ata ang susunod.
When she read the final list, she sounded like a teacher reciting her student's class attendance😭😭 Proves the fact that I can see these names being used by Filipinos
Son: Dad why is my sister's name Sabay Tayong Naligo? Dad: Because that's what your mother did with me when your sister is made. Son: Thanks dad. Dad: No problem, Ikaw Ay Pumunta Sa Aking Kwarto.
I think between Nijisanji and Hololive, Nijisanji will first adopt to NijiPH by how successful and unique Millie is, proud ako sa kanya as kababayan(not the bread)... Don't go back here if it's a poorly aged think...
@@spe-notapopularytbersus1237 Vtubers swearing feels better than "live" streamers swearing, I don't know why, maybe because it's the waifus and husbandos...
i dont think the monetization and income would be good. spending while watching streamers isnt that common yet. filipinos spend their time on short form media like tiktok, and rarely do they spend time sitting down watching anime girls play games. millie's got the sweet spot between being an EN streamer and knowing tagalog, with her being in one of the most popular groups of vtubers. idk if im wrong or what but i rarely even see php currency even on her streams.
Its easy but it will get hard once you go deeper since there are words that are very similar but has different meaning, adding ki, pag and i to words can be quite difficult to use.
For the people who want to save the memes I edited at the end of the video, I have the thread posted in my twitter! twitter.com/lucytehwarrier/status/1533488748633423872
I want to learn filipino nowwww I don't know the language but I memorised the song Anak and if i sing it in my gaming discord calls my Filipino friends get very happy, makes me happy too ❤️
When Millie said "Buwang Dragon" for Selen I laughed bc what I heard was "Buang Dragon", which in Bisaya translates to "Crazy Dragon", which isn't entirely wrong lol (Bisaya is a Filipino dialect, while Tagalog is our national language) edit: for the people correcting me on calling bisaya a dialect, sorry. The correct term would be Cebuano instead of Bisaya, i think I just got mixed up with the terms
Bisaya is a completely different language from Tagalog, not a dialect! Dialect would be like, the difference between Manila Tagalog and Batangas Tagalog
Come to think of it, I wonder what their reactions will be upon hearing that... Or millie referring to them like that. I would love to be in the room if that happens
You know she could;ve re arranged the meaning so they sounded nicer, smth like Pomu Bulangulan or Selena bakunawa (a moon eating dragon in PH mythology)
12 days later, I think I've consumed enough Nijisanji en content to truly appreciate this masterpiece LOL 😂 I'm blaming yt algorithm for recommending me a Millie video and pulling me down into vtuber hell 💀
@@LucyTehWarrier thank you lol the gremlins of ethyria dragged me into this hell. the witch of calamity has brought down chaos upon me 💀 my algorithm is in shambles 😭
"Mister Yoso, Kahong Demonyo" uy nag-rhyme! Pero seryoso, na jumpscare ako nung pinakita si Milord 😭 Edit: nag-isip ako ng swagapinofication ng ILUNA(IBUWAN) *Aia Amare* : Harana ng Anghel(Aia: Love, Amare: Heavenly Sound, aka Love song of the angels) *Maria Marionette*: Maria Mamanyika(Marionette, aka Puppet can also be translated as "papet" or mamanyika, which has the same meaning) *Scarle Yonaguni* : Iskarlata ikaw-na-guniguni(lmao this was a mad stretch since I couldn't find what yonaguni meant) *Kyo Kaneko* : Pagtutulungan ka-pusa(Kyo means cooperation and neko means cat/pusa) *Aster Arcadia* : Bituing Bulaklak Arcadya (Aster means Star Flower and I just tagalog'd Arcadia) *Ren Zotto* : Loto Natatakot (Ren means lotus or loto and Zotto means being horrified, or "Natatakot")
Millie always gets me with this I just come back with more Tagalog Language (ano ba yun, I forgot (struggles to say I forgot in tagalog so ends up just saying it in English) understanding? Hindi uhh knowledge (tangina ang memory nito) and more laughs!
One of the reasons i feel in love with her as a v tuber is that damn laugh specially this giggle 16:13, it fills a guys tank with serotonin. Proud of you millie!
11:30 as a Filipino I remember my grandma used to buy these newspapers named "BULGAR" idk if it was just me but I thought millie reffered to that newspaper brand hahahaha
Imagine if they also translated the name of Nijisanji itself lol. It'd be like _"alas-dos alas-tres"_ XD (Yes, it's Spanish, but other than Spanish or English we don't have other ways to say time; unless you're willing to say _"ikalawang oras, ikatlong oras"_ [second hour, third hour], and even then _"oras"_ is still Spanish lol) Update: Apparently, _"niji"_ also means "rainbow" (hence, nijisanji's logo). In that case, it'd be _"bahaghari alas-tres"_ (rainbow three o'clock) lol
