【Synopsis】During the Zheng dynasty in the vast ocean of Novoland, the seeking for a magical pearl which could be only obtained from a young Naga girl tears’, caused the slaughter of the Merfolk. For this reason, Hai Shi lost her parents and her whole Yu coastal village. During Hai Shi´s most critical moment she met Fang Zhu, the first official of the imperial court, Hai Shi then became Fang Zhu´s disciple. Not long after, Zheng dynasty´s imperial court falls into a great chaos at the same time conflicts with other kingdoms start. Meanwhile the emperor Chi Zhong Xu seems to be unable to keep the order in his court and looks like a self-indulgent ruler. But the persistent support from Fang Zhu allows the nation to see a new time of peace. Hai Shi then becomes the personal guard of the emperor and she starts to be interested in him, and some misunderstandings rise between them. When the emperor finds out that Hai Shi is a girl, he starts having feelings for her. Hai Shi will have to face her own feelings towards Fang Zhu and the emperor.

This episode so many detractors, distractions, hidden agendas in which you cannot pin point the HEAD (S) the main conspirator to topple Emperor’s ( but, of course some of us know who is actually, for the sake of watching wholeheartedly and being a loyal fan of this series, I chose to be silent). While riding on a horse, Zhouying (& Master’s understanding is going beyond), ( of course without Haishi’s knowledge). Master’s words to Zhouying, “Last bet, if you believe in brotherhood with Haishi -- the Reward will be your Freedom and the vast land of Hanzhou”. Zhouying is really expecting ---he didn’t hide (while Haishi was pursuing him ) and HE GIVE WAY TO THE ARROW OF HAISHI 😱😢. I love the moment when Tilan asked Mu Deqing to make a manmade snow which he abides. The Emperor find it so impressive and asked Tilan, until when she is going to stay with her Majesty. She replied without hesitation, “I WILL STAY BY YOUR SIDE , UNTIL THE END OF TIME😢😢”. The talk between the Master & Haishi was excruciatingly painful, especially when she mothed the word, “that they are EXPENDABLE BEING TO MASTER, ZHOUYING, ZHELIU & HER”. Haishi’s identity will be exposed soon p, one way or the other. Fu, assisting Haishi is actually the follower of Su Ming conspiring with Lord Chang & informed the real gender of Haishi. The “cooking of their plan” in on the way. Lord Qinghai or Shifu or Master or Fang Jianming has ALL THE HARDEST BURDEN EVER. His well executed secrets that he has to carry for himself and sacrifices that he has to endure, the ministers insistence of punishing him because of the hidden identities of his soldiers, the INTRICACIES that he has to muster in Protecting the Emperor, People of Dazheng, and Dazheng itself. his love, the LOYALTY , his bravery and his humility is just beyond grasp. That is one of the reasons why this series is so well loved, welcomed, and followed dearly. I have my deepest respect to the character of Fang Jianming, MAY THE LOVE OF HAISHI BE WITH YOU FOREVER IN YOUR HEART ❤️.😢

Let’s put it this way, master is baixi to emperor (no one knows), Fang Haiti and Fang Zhouying are like brothers but master loves them both and over protective of haisi. But he just not able to show his affection to his disciples. Master always has plans in beating Lord Chang (evil).

Why doesn't he just tell Haishi what he is planning with Zhouying instead of once again keeping her in the dark and causing all this suffering. They are like brother and sister so of course she would be upset when she saw her brother's girlfriend dead (yes I know she is still alive, but Haishi doesn't know that) and then her master tells her she has to kill Zhouying if he fights her. Then to make a wager to see if she will really kill him is just plan cruel. I feel he is putting her on more danger when he doesn't tell her what he has in mind. Doesn't he trust her. I'm sure she has matured since the 1st episode.

Because even the best controlled people can accidently give things away. Also if they are taken prisoner, tortured or drugged they can give the truth/facts away as well. Less people know, the better. Problem is she still doesn't trust him no matter how many times she finds out what she thought was true, just isn't. Jian Ming knows almost for certain if she shoots Zhouying with an arrow it won't be fatal in the location she will purposely aim at. She feels sorry for Zhouying because of his love's death and why she thought he turned against them..................well, in his play acting.

That's the character he's playing. If you have seen him in any of his other dramas you out would know he's an amazing actor ..funny and deadly and charming ...don't just judge him by this drama

I said what I said because he's the same in all dramas. He has no expressiveness. Just because you are happy and smiling, it doesn't mean you are expressive. His acting is mediocre...hence, he's still here making femalecentric dol dramas. Plus, it doesn't help that he cant used his own voice.

I don't trust that Commander Fu, I like the other one, he seems more honest. After watching until the end of this episode, I now know why I didn't trust Commander Fu. He always seemed a little sly to me and now we know what he's up to. Man, JiChang is a sly one himself, he's got so many sneaky allies. He's almost as good as Master.

He treated her so badly and now armed with a rubbish apology she just forgave him and marry him the same night. He treated her like a pawn all this time and like she said "once again I was not kept in the loop with regard to the plan to get her brother out of Tianqi.

what the heck mean when Zhuoying defend the emperor and killed the attacker than he attempt to kill the emperor himself. Haishi's master asked her to kill her brother, it seem the assassin people are just like robots do what the master want. Haishi and Zhuoying knew their master killed Zheliu and did nothing, what a shame. I don't think reading a pulse of a person is that accurate as in the drama

Reading the pulse was an art in itself. A doctor usually only saw the hand of the sick person. Some unbelievable knowledge of the East. Still to read about and in practice there. Try to find records about it, they do exist.
