I'm from the UK as well, and I used to think exactly the same. Why do they overreact so much for a sneeze or the tiniest little cut lol. But I've been watching East Asian dramas for years now and I'm completely used to it now. Tbh, I now find it weird if characters don't overreact, and it comes across as not really having feelings for each other 😅

Bc it's a drama and one of the most overused tropes (but i never get sick of it lol) bc if they get sick, it's an excuse to have couple moments
