Weird way to finish this series, but I like it. I found the series to be interesting, captivating at times, and I was emotionally invested in it. Thank you everyone that had a part in producing this series. It was thought provoking, played with the heartstrings, made us proud and embarrassed with the actors and actresses. Thank you!!!
Best I have seen in the past 6 months! The ending was good, the storyline was solid, the actresses were actually attractive, the male actors were handsome and all the characters played their roles well! I hope Season 2 is in the works with the same writers, directors and cast.
I was hooked from the first episode....totally loved the plot and the characters...each episode engendered a full spectrum of emotions. Xu Zhengyi and Meng Ziyi did an incredible job as Crown Prince and his sickly beauty....Kudos to the Production team as well
Uhh loved this series.. every actor portrayed their role perfectly.. I wish there was another sequel where we can watch the reunion of yun han and princess.. the chemistry between main couple is just flawless and of course how can I forget to mention my fav character princess jiamin.. she never failed to make me laugh.. gonna miss them alot🤍
This was a good series... not too much scheming or plot twists, which can get heavy at times taking away from the character arcs, but in this series they kept it straight forward, and I'm here for that. All the actors played their parts extremely well, from the mains through to the supporting cast, without outshining each other. I'm also glad it was done in 24 episodes... most others drag it out to approx. 50+ episodes, but this one was able to achieve the storyline in only half that. I feel like this is more inline with reality, if it were a representation. Very happy 🥰
I love the cartoon characters the best. Those portraits look very close to the people they represent. An awesome artist plus those adorable clay dolls. The portraits and the clay dolls are adorable. I would like to have some of those dolls. Lovely!💕
This is a great drama. Congratulations to all those who helped create it. Gold stars to the script writers, the plot was always interesting with a lot of humour to lighten the mood. The characters were so well drawn and consistent, right up to the end where Liuli's child hood habit of writing vindictive, really funny letters re-emerged in her wedding invitation to 'the defeated enemy' Prince and her instruction he should bring 'expensive presents.' Made me laugh a lot in between the sad bits.
Loved every moment of this drama so much, that I will be spending the next few days rewatching this from the beginning! A strong and genius pair of lead characters, funny and equally captivating supporting cast with a wonderful storyline with interesting twists along the way. Beautifully touching moments, some heartbreakingly sad ones, and overall one of the best dramas I've seen to date, and I need more! This is one of my top faves from here on out!
Funny beginning, great ending, also the wrap: great😀 love the people and has shown me once more the love one has for another, if one is willing to die for another person! It struck my heart, makes me even more impressed. Gave me extra courage and extra appreciation. ❤
WHAT A FABULOUS SERIES!!!!!!!!! The scene with Song and Liuli brought tears to my eyes! It was flawlessly done. Great acting! Loved Jeremy Tsui in this!!!! I had few critical comments along the way, but overall this was an outstanding entertaining drama! Sad to see it end. I was hoping for a least one more episode to see Liuli's servant get married and some interaction with the Generals and their new son-in-law. The closing scene with the cast was one of the best!
Loved the Series, It was Fantastic! The storyline was captivating at all times! I think Xu Zhenxi and Meng Ziyi should continue making Great Movie Series! WOWZA to the Whole Crew! I really liked the end when it was a wrap the way it was. Look forward to more!
Ummm this drama is well written and they are flawless in doing their action male actress is so attractive and male actor is also handsome even other actresses and actor's are so beautiful and handsome I love their story'line and their ending is perfect even they won't make season 2 i won't upset because their ending is so satisfying to me

Absolutely loved this drama. Everything about it was perfect I watched many cdramas and this is one of the best sometimes the dramas can be filled with stomach wrenching parts with this drama there was laughter love good and not so bad people and great cinematic wonders like when the musician floated down in white with butterfly looking white flakes falling down with him so so Kool I love this and I'm sure it will be one that I keep going back to watch when I need some warmth and good feelings Thank you all actors directors al of you you made my day❤❤❤😊
If you liked Jeremy Tsui in this, he was great in Autumn Ballard. Another recommendation if you're looking for something entertaining and fun, is the Legendary Life of Queen Lau.

I liked all characters, the story, decors, landscapes, the main couple was great, the second couple was great, the maid of Meng Ziyi was great with her love for Pei was sweet. Meng Ziyi was great in The Untamed too. Excellent actress, but she is a bit too concerned about her looks, prettiness...does not matter, how much she tries to be sweet, it’s cold sweetness. Sorry. The end with all waving to the camera was special, and heart-warming. Thank you for the awesome entertainment.
So even Chinese people get confused with the characters that really look alike😂😂😂 I always ask this question when the characters look alike, i thought they played by the same actor 🤭
I wish Yuan Wei and Pei Jihuai would get married. She's a captain and a warrior. She's more than a servant and should allow herself to accept Pei. I hope one day Yun Han and Princess Xiu Ying will meet again and marry. She won't look at another man and he won't look at another woman. They are stronger together and can help one another heal. I hope the Crown Prince pesters Yun Han to stop hiding.
This drama serial has awesome ending this is the first history drama I ever seen in which father and son bond is too much strong and both r friendly all become couples but what about xuying and yu 😢 lots of love ❤️❤️❤️😊
