[ENG SUB] Siwon & Liuwen We are in love EP 4 

I think one of the reasons why Siwon and Liu Wen are having such misunderstandings is because Siwon treats this as what it is - a variety show. He's used to and very familiar with WGM that the way he does the show with all the big gestures and the making light of stuff - it screams variety show veteran who is in this to entertain and bring in the viewers/ratings. We have seen variations of these scenes played out with different pairings on WGM. Like, I'm pretty sure Siwon in real life wouldn't be that stupid to go into a girl he's dating's bedroom the first time he visits her house or be pushy with the skinship when they only know each other for a few days, or jokingly ask for an underwear show (the guy is one step away from being a pastor ffs). That stuff makes it obvious that he is not entirely being real and is following a script. Not saying that Siwon is faking all his actions, because he really does seem like he wants to make Wen happy, but I don't think he realizes that for the girl, this is more than just a fake dating variety show. Wen doesn't want the glitz or him showing off how much money he has with over the top romantic gestures, she wants to see and most importantly, feel Siwon's sincerity more. I kind of feel sorry for Wen tbh because I feel like she is treating the show as something real while Siwon, well Idk. Sigh.

Love them together but still I think Liu Wen made a big mistake by participating in WGM. She's too innocent/pure for this kind of show.

I think that Liuwen is a good match for Siwon, as she's someone he's obviously not used to. Siwon is handsome and rich and obviously has learned how to charm people's socks off, and is very used to girls (and guys) throwing themselves at him. In his eyes, he must think that he should have some almighty image and flaunt his money around because he's probably gotten the impression from girls in the past that that's what women like. But Liuwen is also beautiful and rich and one of the top models in the WORLD, and so the money is literally nothing to her. She's never been in a relationship so rather than having grand gestures and money, I believe she wants to feel the sincerity of a relationship because she hasn't yet felt it. I don't necessarily think she's taking it all seriously, I think she does understand that it's a show, but what she wants out of the show is to experience a relationship because she has yet to know what it's like. I think once Siwon realises this, they'll be fine.

Siwon treat Liu too princess things bcs he was raised like that. Very gentleman and put woman to be num 1, so special. On the other hand Liu is very traditional chinese girl who want her love life to be simple not like k-drama or too good to be true and fairy tale. She's so pure, innocent, and simple. Surrounded by tons of money and fame makes her missed all the simple things. I agree there's wall between them even they're so sweet together, and i just feel Siwon thinking he as a man need to leading his woman that's why he's actively breaking the wall between them.

I personally think that siwon is the one who is moving too fast and being inconsiderate to her ...when seohyon of girls generation was on the show she was way more shy than lie wen but yonghwa (her husband of cnblue )respected and considered her feelings and NEVER tried to kiss her or even touch her until she was totally 100% ready

Omg the preview. I hope it's just hidden camera but even if it is, it's just too mean for liu wei. Please dont break her heart shi won ahhhh. He's rushing things too much. I believe she likes him or at least interested in him but she has no experience so she doesnt know how to express it. Give her some time, putting pressure on her iust makes things worse.

At first I think the girl in blue dress is really familiar. It turned out she was Miss World. No wonder she is so beautiful.

I know this show is partially scripted and it's variety...BUT, somehow @ 19:23, when Liuwen's friend says "silence is her saying yes" I felt really uncomfortable because if this was a real relationship, I would not be okay with that. If someone is uncomfortable with doing something in a relationship, that needs to be communicated. A silence does not mean a yes; making these assumptions without communicating to the other person if he/she's okay with doing something can really damage a relationship and lead to a lot of misunderstanding. I feel bad for Liuwen because she was too afraid of communicating what she wanted when her friends kept pressuring her to do the kiss.

I have a few thoughts. First of all, I think Siwon is treating everything exactly the way it is. A variety show. It isn't a real marriage and it isn't a real relationship. It's all for TV entertainment. And he's been in the entertainment business for a long time so he knows how this goes. So he's doing everything guys do in dramas because it's a show and he wants to entertain the viewers. Whereas Liuwen is 180 degrees opposite of Siwon. I think since she's never been in a relationship before she shouldn't have been cast in this show because she's going to think it's real. Plus both of them are rich so it's not really working. He's trying to win her over with gifts and drama-like gestures (which is his style), but she's not appealed by that and only wants simple things. So basically they both should date people who are non-celebrities in order to get the relationship they want.

I never expected Liu Wen to be so innocent because she always appears so confident on camera (VS runway and other photoshoots) but here she comes saying she's never dated before...tnat threw me off a lot haha

I've been watching WGM for quite some time now... I've seen couples come and go, and I've seen a handful of foreign couples join the show as well. This pair's got one of the most interesting story though. Liu Wen represents "reality" and seeing the frustration build is something new to all these fancy stuff. I'm used to seeing all the sweet little acts, but it lacks the genuineness and sincerity, but seeing this couple made me think, hey, there's some truth behind it. It's really interesting.

Siwon also invite liuwen in helios premiere look like siwon take serious about this relationship. Just pray the good for him. Anything.

I think I am missing something ... maybe it is lost in translation ... or in culture, but I am not understanding why Siwon is not showing a little more patience. He seems to be pushing too hard for Liuwen and then gets frustrated. Could someone help me understand?

Poor girl, WGM chinese should not casted her. She is such a pure heart babe. What if she really fall in love? Who will responsible for her heart break when we all know this show will never end up good. As for siwon, i think this is the first time he handle a serious innocent girl who is not head over heels for him. I hope he will learn something kk....hope both of them will find a true love.

I really think the fight is fake under hidden camera. As siwon said there are walls in front of liu wen and he needs to break it. I think next episode he is trying to push Liu Wen to a point that she will finally admit her feeling toward him. That's why in the preview he keeps asking her "do you like me?". Also for the kiss, siwon kissed her twice. One time Siwon wears the heartbeat tester (in this episode), one time Liu wen wears it (in the EP4 preview), but only one is aired.

I really like Siwon ~ Luiwen couple. They look good together and they seems so real. I like them to be more comfortable with each other. I hope everything will be fine for next episodes. I want Luiwen to be happy and also for Siwon. Even though they're just a virtual couple but it seems they're unique from the other. They encountered more tension , awkwardness & the fight thing ( idk) but it seems like they showed the real feelings they had. What a perfect match to be. The Prince who had it all & the gorgeous Top model with her simplicity & true heart. I wish best of luck with them. Hope Won~Wen WGM couple show make more episodes. I seriously love Liu Wen laid back style. Not like trying too hard to impress. She's natural and she's comfortable with being herself. It's relaxing and refreshing to see that.

omg the next episode looks quite nerve-wrecking... i wonder what happened. I totally understand how liu wen feels about it, its because this is a programme but she feels like it should take the course of a real relationship where everything has to be slowly built up and not forced. On the other hand, siwon wants to make things comfortable for liu wen who is quite an introvert, hence he takes the initiative to tell jokes and do things for her. But liu wen is really taking things seriously, i do hope siwon can give her more time, and not say things like there's no hope, even though he's joking but i think liu wen does feel sorry that she can't express the same amount of love that siwon has given her.

Omg, the editing of the show is just so awful. If I havn't known siwon for all these years. I would think he is really such a arrogant careless man. Why are they doing that, purposely making a awful figure just to tell a story they want to tell. I don't like it.

This episode/argument wasn't as bad as I thought, neither was the kiss (Siwon can't read that she changer her mind, but I'm glad he didn't initiate that and force it on her like I thought, I was expecting the worst. Even though that unaired kiss was cute and I wish they had left the actual cuteness instead of giving us this to create drama with. :/ ). I also find it interesting how Siwon and Wen both think the other is upset or disappointed. They want more, but more of different things. He wants her to open up to him more, not really just skinship but with anything, it's like he wants her to communicate so he knows what she's thinking or feeling. She wants him to stop making everything this big production that she has to interpret and just be more real with her. He doesn't get that she wants the simple, he knows it's her first time dating so he wants to make their dates awesome, but he's overdoing it. She doesn't get that he's that kind and cheesy a lot of the times, especially because his seriousness freaked her out last time so he kept joking. He doesn't get that his jokes are either pressuring her or she's misunderstanding them or they're making her feel like nothing matters to him at all (a continuation of their first fight from the last episode). It's interesting, and I still feel that the producers gave this kind of relationship to them, probably because of Liu Wen's actual lack of dating history and how Siwon comes across as this larger than life prince.... But I still find more adorableness in their real life friendship (the bts for the next episode with the fight look all kinds of adorable, whereas the actual episode has them fighting quite badly) than in the actual episodes (1 and 2 I thoroughly enjoyed, aspects of 3 and 4 were too weird and forced to me). I just hope they let them be more real in future episodes because this was just OKAY LET'S CREATE DRAMA HERE, when it was going so well. Again, I know it's a realistic situation, but in the context and with the outtake kiss, it was just a weird unnatural plot device to make them both misunderstand each other (and i guess so the next episode has a focus). I honestly want to see Liu Wen and Siwon go back to getting to know each other without all the weird pretenses, so I hope this gets better in future episodes. Finally.. thanks @alvin goodgirl. I just love this two.. They are matured and love every conversation they had. Its really show how Liu wen afraid that Siwon will hurt her feeling and Siwon really sincere towrd her.. Awwweeee... This is what relationship should be like.. I mean the WGM show, no scripted. Anyway, for eps 5, I think I will cry. By just watching preview for eps 5, I already cried a bit. I doesn't know why, but I just hate it, when a perfect and loving couple get into fight. Huhuhuhu.. But after eps5 both they relationship get stronger and better.. hehehheeh.. keep the Wonwen ship sail!!!!!!!

I just had a situation like this, a guy pushing the relationship when we were just starting to know each other... I didn't end good cuase I didn't like that....hopefully it will end well for this 2, I know it's just a show, but they make a damn good looking couple, and siwon IS a true gentleman, a good man for such an innocent girl, I hope he'll stop acting....can't wait for the next episode!

As someone who have an aggressive BF like siwon I get what liu wen feel. But after hearing my BF side I get it now. Guys need reaffirmation that the girl do like him back. Gifts might be good and all but affection is needed. I think siwon is just asking a little close affection. They are suppose to be BF and gf. Give or take they don't know each other well but from his view he might feel like she doesn't like him as much or embarrassed to call him her BF. Even if she say she's happy. Although this is s variety show, but I can sense the genuineness between Siwon and Liu wen. They are taking it seriously. I do hope that they get together for real even though there seems to be obstacles between them. I can understand Liu wen perspective about her thoughts towards Siwon. After all he is such a larger than life figure, a man too perfect until questions of doubt will arise. Can't be helped actually. Hope that Siwon will be more patient and understanding and that they will end up together for real as a couple one day.

First of all ... i wonder how many Flowers she got by now because he braught her flowers like everytime the met. And i think it's really funny that Liu Wen is one of the top Models of the World but got that much of balance problems and can't ride a bike or is tone deaf :'D it just shows that She is a normal Person and is not Flawless just like many people would think. Average person confirmed.

I personally don't think either of them are at fault in their miscommunication...I just think that they have two very different ideals about how one should be in a relationship and what is or isn't acceptable. Ppl r saying that Siwon is being too aggressive but Song Jae Rim was twice as aggressive and him and Kim So Eun got along really well and were one of the most popular WGM couples. It's all a matter of preference and compatibility and I'm not sure that these two r compatible.

I can see SiWon is intense but she is thinking too much. If you like him it can't always be too soon... no no no. At some point when he is making an effort even if it's not your perfect ideal... you have to try and go with the flow of the relationship. Try to develope it instead of the excuse... I don't have experience. You will never have experience if you say no to everything. Men and women are complicated and not simple the trick is to be open to your boyfriend when you see effort in his action. She is somewhat tiring and makes it hard to continue making an effort. Once a man gets the idea that you're not that into him he may give up trying. She is so insecure that he could actually like her that she sabotages his sincere expressions toward her by saying she can't trust what he says. "I don't know if he's joking or not"., because she thinks he's not sincere at all. He's an idol with thousands of women wanting him ... so what... he's there with you and you should spend the time to enjoy him and what he wants to do for you and capture his heart instead of worrying so much. Let oppa do it if he can at least he's willing to ... for now. That may change... No hope????

i don't get why she should feel sorry because he's been forcing a lot of things within this episode itself. and if she said she felt it was too early to meet her parents - given that it IS a variety show and thus unnecessary - i don't get why he would want to guilt-trip her to the point where she feels letting him kiss her cheeks would make up for the other disappointment despite her obvious discomfort. *sighs* yes, obviously it's a show but to a lot of Asian girls (or Chinese girls), meeting parents is typically a stage where you have a really steady relationship with marriage in mind so... I don't understand why he'd want to meet her parents so badly on their 3rd day. And i wonder why he wouldn't offer to let her meet his parents instead. (and that part where he says a girl should not do this and should do that just raised a lot of alarms right there....). and that nonchalant body language when he was seated amongst her friends in the living room... ok.

I think Siwon is getting frustrated because their relationship hasn't evolved as quickly as it should in a variety show but he should be more considerate since its Wens first time at everything. Since he is aware she is traditional and conservative he should have more patience and understand that she has a more serious and realistic approach to all this.

This show is really different from WGM Korea! If it is scripted or not i have never seen a participant act like these two. I can't decide what to think! Shouldn't Siwon oppa be more consideratie of Wen!? Andere shouldn't Wen be a little more open towards the gestures of oppa! I can't get my head around it. As an ELF i can't or dong know what to say any further. I just find it sad on both parts. Sighhh!!

I think Siwon is a well-mannered man who cares a lot about how the women feel and tried hard to joke around so that the lady (Liu Wen) would feel comfortable. I think the next episode could be "pranking Liu Wen". Looks like it's kinda scripted, looking at the past few episodes. The story do flow in a way HAHAHA

I think it was too soon to have her girlfriends over possibly assessing their relationship, it's too much pressure, like a rush for where or when the relationship is going, judging, observing, misunderstanding and leading to snap judgments. They were distracting, bothersome, and getting too personal where its not their job by putting them on the spot, very awkward and uncomfortable, not real, almost failing.
