a man as monotone as him in an environment full of mental asylum escapees? how can we forget him? he's fuckin amazing. he gave lazulight a literal piece of the moon.
I feel like somewhat in recent times graduations have meant like a death to the "character" and, honestly, seeing someone talk about a Vtuber that graduated in this way is really refreshing and, in some way, comforting. Wish Vtubers start doing more of this talks about someone that graduated 🥲i kinda feel bad that talking about Vtubers that graduated is like a taboo, the fact that they were there and created connections with people is never gonna be erased, so it should be natural to mention memories or the fact that they're still talking and stuff.
At least in Nijisanji JP people talk about chatting or meeting with graduated members pretty regularly, it hasn't ever really changed. There are various things to consider with that kind of thing obviously, like their privacy and whether they actually want to be talked about, and just in general the additional care when it comes to talking about the affairs of people who can't be there to speak for "themselves".
@@zulzul-c1r not really...its really a "taboo" in en for some reason, like....there's a lot a lot of graduation streams and then that backlash that happened so :(
He currently has soooooo many different kinds of activities and schedules. Even if I didn't know what he was doing nowadays, I'll never forget him and his contributions to Nijisanji; he had so many cool concepts and ideas and his lore was _chef's kiss_
In my eyes there are so many legendary and amazing Niji Vtubers that have moved on But Mayu was truly one of a kind, he won't be forgotten here, I am glad to know he is doing well
His community post recently appeared on my RU-vid page and I was glad to be able to see "Kai Mayuzumi" even in 2024, and now we even have a 2434 member mention him... I'm so happy 😭🙏 There's really no way we would ever forget him, I'm glad he's doing well! Thank you Sukoya's OBS for having problems ww.
Dude, he graduated pretty soon after I joined the Niji fanbase. And a graduation that was getting that much talk that soon into me being here in the first place? Of course I could never forget about him.
No way someone is going to forget him. When you think of Nijisanji he is one of the people that will pop up first. That's how influential he is to the vtuber community or at least Nijisanji.
I'm so glad we get an update about him even if it's been a year and a half since he retired. Really thankful for Sukoya for giving us an update and I hope we get to hear more about him
man how can we forget myy when he was such a proficient liver. the dude made himself unforgettable!!! I still feel a bit sad whenever i think about him. Glad he's doing okay! thank you for the translation :D
Mayuyuuuuuu I love him so much 2:09 when she said this, I tear up because that's what I do before. He give me peace and joy. His monotone voice somehow feel so calming I love it
I still not believe mayuyu graduated 1,5 years ago. Glad to hear news about you mayuyu. I hope sukoya can achieve her dream about mayuyu tell her become more good at trpg game. We love you mayuyu.
she's talking about it so cheerfully, yet it still made me tear up, especially the part at 2:09. and i've never even really watched mayu in the first place, goddammit lmao. despite it making me cry though, i really wish en was more like this too. i wonder if it's a difference in contracts, mentality, or simply the sepcific graduated vtubers themselves not wanting it. well, it is what it is. tysm for the clip!!
i used to diligently watch Blues when I discovered Ars way way back and now it's also only Ars that's left of them. i'm glad he's doing fine and still talks to his old buddies. change of career after 3-5 of working is pretty understandable especially in Japan
No way anyone who knew him would forget him, I was lucky enough to find Mesherz early on and I really enjoyed him for the time he was active!!! Lots of people still miss him, I still see fanart quite frequently lol
Mayuyu😢 I hope you know that there are new fans who have come to like you even after your graduation😢 I was so sad when I couldn't find him on the nijilivers page after watching the Perfect Human 3D performance by Mesherz 😭
Mayuyu was the one that got me into this Nijisanji hole for the past 4 years in the first place as my no. 1 oshi within Nijisanji. Even after the debut of EN where gradually the branch's livers became more diverse, he was and still is one of my favorite VTubers ever! Everytime I see anyone mention him or see arts online of him I just get so giddy I don't know what to do with myself sometimes.
Thank you for the clip! I miss Mayuyu a lot, and have been thinking about him lately so this kind of update with this timing was really nice... He sure underestimates his impact though w
there’s absolutely no way we could ever and I mean ever forget about mayuyu!!! I cant believe it’s already been over a year since he graduated... time has gone by so fast...I still miss you mayuyu🥺💕
There is no way im forgetting mayuyu. Talking about him right now is making me tear up already. Its so nice to hear something about him again. I hope he continues to do well. He's forever a legend!🫶🏻
Mayuyu was my gateway into Nijisanji, two weeks after he graduated. He was unlike any streamer I had seen before and it captured my attention immediately. He still inspires me even if I never got to see him live. He vastly underestimates the legacy he left behind.
NO WAY CAN I FORGET MY FIRST OSHI! He open me ro this rabbit hole of vtubers and as much as I miss him, I’m glad that he is still streaming and doing what he wants.
Ive been getting recommended years old clips laterly, so seeing this is a 6 day old clip really warms my heart..... i was not an active watcher of him, but even i think of him time to time and hoping he's doing good cuz his impact really was that big on the vtuber community.
There's no way I would forget Mayuzumi. There hasn't been anyone like him in niji and I doubt anyone could replace him. I was such a big fan of Meshers too. I still watch old clips of Mayuyu and follow up with what he does now since I still love him
There's absolutely no way I will ever forget about Mayuyu, and I'm sure the same goes for some people out there too. He's a legend, and I'm glad to know he's doing well. It still sometimes saddens me that I missed his graduation. I just took a short break from watching VTubers, and then when I came back to watch him, I saw that he'd already graduated. I was late by a few days. :
Been watching Vtuber thingy for 6 years but is there any information about graduated members be a manager or something? Some of the vtuber I like really want to be a manager, he didn't graduate rn but ya. How amazing it'll be if graduated members is still around us
