the thing that i like the most about this drama is that they didn't make the male lead a genius student and female lead a poor student ....they made them average students and i love it....because in most of the dramas one of the leads is super intelligent all the time

I am from Canada and I understand that the actress here, Ireine Song, grew up and was educated in Canada. Asides from Chinese Mandarin, she speaks English and French languages very well. Her First Epic Fantasy, Adventure Drama, "Ever Night" won the Best TV Drama Series in Canada-China International Film Festival. And this Drama Series is now translated into 25 different languages. We're glad that Ireine has another drama like this 'Romantic Drama" and she is with another young actor. Playing a different role will help her improved more of her acting skills and abilities. Actors and actresses should not limit themselves to one role . . . Ireine Song or Song Yiren's personality projects youthful joy and a care-free attitude; a youth, who is running when they are supposed to walk. A personality of a happy and positive disposition of life . . . I've learned that Ireine had many fans in Brazil and Spain now. We wish Ireine Song: All the Best for Her Growing Career! Keep it up . . .

I belonged to an international group where we only watched Chinese Dramas that is "worthy to be watched". And we have that "Ever Night" TV Drama Series, to spend our time . . . I am here on RU-vid, browsing around as I am writing my paperwork on the differences between Asian Drama and that of Western Drama. After this, I will go to Korean Dramas. Yes, I understand that the height of Ireine Song and her physical look is sometimes an issue with some fans, especially the fanatics of Dylan Wong in Ever Night 2. I see that they liked the other Chinese actress to be always with Dylan Wang. These fans forget that "Beauty Fades while Personality Blooms". - Love Teams are not really of advantageous for the acting career of actors and actresses. One had to go out, performing different roles and be paired with different personalities. - Ireine Song is gifted with a natural talent in acting, it seems to be easier for her to act casually on whatever role is written for her. She always exudes a bright and a happy personality. - And we can only wish the best for her profession. - This new drama: The Best of You in My Mind", will show to us another great performance of Song Yiren! guess got another fix skate into love ended and now we get another bonus sports romance . I also like Ireine Song . Man she is so tiny lol and for almost being 27 she sure can still pull off being a teen in a drama. I liked her in evernight also but I felt sorry for her always having to dress so plainly. Hopefully she wears some flattering costumes this time around.

Yes Song Yi Ren is 27, she's so tiny, probably fit in a pocket, lol. She was in Flavour it's Yours, Time Teaches me to Love, The Prince of Tennis (on Netflix) and Ever Night. The guy (Zang Yao) only 23. He was in when we were young, The Love in Between and Love the Chef Next door

Amazing! This is the Best Modern Drama that I've ever watched! Such heartwarming story of friendship, so human and a realistic touch of a youthful love! This beautiful series brought us back of our happy and unforgettable memories of our "first crushes and first love" while we are in school! She’s blaming him for making her wear the stockings...did I miss something? 🤔It wasn’t the WEARING of the stockings that caused the problem. It was the HIDING of the stockings that caused the problem. SHE hid them behind the sofa cushions instead of taking 3 steps back and putting them in her room, SHE heard her parents arguing about them and could have spoken up, and SHE could have told her Mom when she tried to stop her from leaving-the half-hearted, softly murmured confession as her Mom turns away doesn’t count...SMDH!

well looking at it from her perspective, she just saw her dad kissing someone else which made her made. this also made her unable to control her emotions and it ended up in her taking it out on him. that doesnt really justify her actions that much but i guess you could try to understand her?

Helena Su 👍😞Understandable. This mom is too selfish. She left the kids 10 years before when they were small. Chi Chi we can see has that emptiness and still needs her mom. Some kids are more dependent than others on their mom. I hate this kind of parent. I could never give my child this pain and suffering. @@lovelydorrie yes but again the stockings are a fuse for a fight however whether hers or not it doesn't matter -> because both parents are obviously separated as u can see by the context of the episode, because the question wasn't, why are there stockings but why did u bring them here , her being a child she is not meant to understand the subtle undercurrents of the episode (her parents being on bad terms and basically separated), so she blames herself and him, which yes is selfish but its a selfishness that resulted from a psychological barrier or trauma of the idea that her parents are separating and she is clutching at straws, people do crazy things when there is too much mental pressure for them to handle , especially if they cannot reconcile 'their hand' in the matter but that's kind of the point of the episode -> emotional breakdown and resistance to change cause a social rift not only with her friends but also her family (just to note I'm not saying this episode is well deigned or the plot is well designed , just the subtle undercurrents of what they chose to go with)

@@asimramay1069 Agree with you but when someone is doing something wrong you have to tell that person. For any situations, pointing someone’s faults it’s not blaming them it’s helping them to understand that their behavior was not appropriate so they can grow from it. So when she blamed her friend she was wrong. Does that mean she is bad person? Definitely no. Her reaction is understandable because of her emotional background but she was selfish in this particular moment. And she will understand later, that’s how life is :)

I'm too old but that is one good looking young man from professional single. This young man is good looking too I'm finding that there is a lot of good looking young men in Asian, this is a culture I've never really watch TV from or really paid much attention to because of the language barrier but thanks to subtitles.
