It's true what Jane said. In the media industry-- whatever form it is, advertising, PR, TV, film prod, series prod, even print journalism-- "when you're early, you're on-time. when you're on-time, you're late, And when you're late, you are dead." It's always been like this and I like how it was shown in this first episode. As someone who worked in media, surviving a day is already an achievement. There's so many P' Jane in the industry tbh especially in TV. Ruthless but professional and super competetive. Looking forward to this series sooooo much!
FR! Give this man a break 😂 He is so good at it that they alway make him cry in all his series. I can't see Gun cry, it makes me cry too🥲 In TOL I cried everytime with Third, it was a mess😭
They make him cry because Off is weak to Gun and one time Mike said that while filming ToL Off was very grumpy for shooting and he couldn't break from grumpy to sweet as the scenes changed and something had upset Gun and Off saw him crying and switched moods... I wish I still had that dang comment clip But 5-6 years ago now it's long gone from my files lol.. At this point I think Gun crying is to simulate the moment Offs character starts changing around him. Because Off is obviously very weak for him..... Off himself said his biggest weakness with Gun is crying, and lip biting. Because he knows how serious Gun is with his lips and biting means something is definitely not good with him.
In all fairness, this series is visually appealing! Love the color grading and even the production design. Also, office romance stories are common but at least this one’s set in a production house and not just any ordinary office. Glad that they also added that Ryan After Work segment at the end. It’s both educational and entertaining. This series is off to a good start. It’s a fun pilot episode and I hope they get to sustain it until the end.
Let me be honest, i started this without much expectation cuz nowadays no bl series excites me but after watching the 1st ep i can't wait for the next ep. I loved how the first ep went there were no unnecessary cringy scenes. So excited for 2nd ep
It's his first day as an intern at that company and Jane told Ryan to do a lot of things and even demands it, and he is making an effort in that and it was only the first day of his internship and he was being treated badly, I swear I dislike that Jane, who does he think he is¿? ¿? ¿?, but I want to say that I loved everything about the episode, it was so beautiful and very fun, so good to see my OffGun again in another series, and I love Pah the character played by Point, he looks so cute being talkative and he is so funny, I'm glad to see him again in another series and I loved the first episode and I loved it and I'm sure this series promises and will be the best series when it's finished, and I'm dying with anticipation for it to be Sunday again 😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
i think it's normal for some mentors to be strict because that's how it is in the real working situation. if u already cried or discouraged from a scolding, you're not gonna fit the job. p'jane might be harsh but it's the reality. but i do think it will get better anytime soon ❤️
"What do you want to be a director.... you'll have to wake up early." "Like how you wake up to curl your hair" View just being savage for no reason she never misses 😂
This series on the FIRST episode got me cursing, sweating, SCREAMING at the characters, acting out as if i was ryan and what id say if i was in the situation, WHILE UP AT 4 IN THE MORNING. I physically CANNOT wait for this series to publish ep2 BECAUSE IM WAITINHGGGGGGG FOR RYAN TO POP AND JUST QUIT THAT JOB OMLLLLLLL. If you see me ramble, on and on and on about a series/actor then you know its a good series/actor.
It too connectable and hurts😢 Reminds me of the time when i was in TV production industry. From the very first day, my boss kept telling me that I was useless again and again (yes, she was right. But I was hired as “employee without any experience of the industry”). I already left the industry few years ago. But i sometimes remember her words and get scared. Hope Ryan and other trainees to feel safe. (After leaving the industry, I happened to watch Thai BL series and met my faves who always help me to positively affirm my existence. Thank you GMM and my boys, you are my comfort space😂)
this looks like a good start. I like ryan as a character, he has so much space to develop and his struggle to find a passion is really relatable! excited for the next ep
Jane looks like he is always angry but there is something about his character like everything he was saying is not wrong tho and it looks like he is even encouraging ryan to be more confident and communicative bcz that was the reason why he got in to this situation also. What jane said is true, You need to tell what you think if not how can others know what you are thinking and ofc they will misundrstand you
I know I’ll come to like Jane, but oooooh if he starts giving off any vibe like Khao in theory of love I’ll go ballistic I already don’t like the preview for next episode and Ryan crying 😭
Only one episode and this is already one of my fav shows..it’s crazy how realistic it is..in my first internships I remember crying everyday cuz my senior was the same as Jane pls this is giving me some serious PTSD
When I was my first placement trust me what he was doing is soft compared to my first day they are all smiles and then after you get thrown into the deep end and everything is your fault lol which essentially it makes sense because that’s how real life works because you can get a boss like Jane and sometimes there’s a boss who really cares to each their own ya knoww
Jajajaja está serie está muy buena, me hizo identificarme mucho con Ryan y también me hicieron reír bastante, me preocupe por ver a Gun llorar de nuevo en un drama, aunque solo el primer ep y ya estoy amando ❤❤
The first episode is so good!! The chemistry between the 5 interns are so nice i love the gang already, pjane kinda piss me off but jums play him so well he'll be misunderstood but he always gets the job done 😁😁 Ooh and i love it they put trivia about production house and agency so great to understand new things 💓💓
5:21 That eyebrow raise 😳 But in all seriousness internships are tough and I like that this series shows that. Jane's character won't be easy to like at first but whatever he said is a real lesson.
i like Jane, he's serious about his work and isnt being malicious. id want to intern for him, id learn alot. my only issue is him not explaining the time thing to EVERYONE and not just ryan after being pushed to.
Unlike Cooking Crush series, This series will be one of the best OffGun serieses.. Very relatable with real life situations and Offgun's chemistry is top notch ♥️🔥 Eagerly waiting for next week..
Jane is being practical. But His method would be quite overwhelming for interns, That is doubled so for our "What does AD mean?" AD Intern Ryan. I love all out cute Interns. Tae Sea is adorbs🥰. The plot of the series is new and interesting, Finally, The Trainee Ep 1 has got me hooked
I have this heavy heartbeat knowing the struggles of Ryan is somewhat related to my current situations as an intern in this industry. it really sucks to know ever bits of pieces on your own without someone guiding or helping you althorughout your journey. And yes, that's what reality it is. You just need to be more open, be prepared to what people might shout on you, especially if it really hurts your feelings. Bottle up and make space to your empty bottle to fill up those anger, resentment, and frustration because that's what make you feel althroughout your internship journey if don't have a good proper training beforehand in making those tasks at the very beginning of your journey.
To those interns like me who have been struggling and dealing with these kind situations until the very end, I do wish to keep your rope on tight and never give up of what your aiming for. Dreaming your goals is much harder to attain if you don't have guts in pursuing and doing it passionately with strong heart and open mind. Just remember to keep yourself afloat to an never ending cycles of mix emotions when dealing this kind of stuffs in the long run.
P'jane is hella Hard on the interns on their first day ☠️☠️🙂 4:11 The way Sea baby holding Ploy's pink purse 👛 🎀😭😂 4:51 "do you also want to be with Tae like Ba-mhee" DAMN I'm in love with Poon's this character🎀🤣 5:43 Shiyaa why the hell P'Off giving me Khai's vibe (TOL)😭😭 8:44 "The underarm that's brighter than your future" 😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣
I recently became a trainee and I only worked for 12 days but I can relate to Ryan so much specially me myself being slow and introvert and being the clueless one in the team but I am so much smart than them and I have a creative mind but they always follow the book so we end up being the stupid one
I'm a children's therapist with adhd and asd. I remember the first day that they put me in charge of a huge group. I finished my shift went to my car and balled my eyes out. I feel you Ryan.
I think Jane is tough on Ryan because he thinks he has no concrete knowledge or background to apply in a production house. He joined as a hobby and the job is tougher than hobby. He think the main interviewer got fooled by Ryans clueless answer. So he is more tough on Ryan.
With all the fun and excitement in this ep, we are already getting a glimpse of seriousness as well. I like how we see the experience of internship is a test of many things, and mistakes happen but we learn from it one step at a time.
5:25 I love the rest didn't give a fuck about how they just got scolded or ignored by p'jane about being late so their footage in not needed..I wish i could be like them..if this happened to me Ik I will keep thinking about it for a month repeating better answers for the issue
I love it! Had me cackling the first 2 parts and nearly sobbing the last 2. Good bled of realistic life lessons and comic relief. I like Ryan's character simply because there's so much room for improvement and I can't wait to see the character development. Jane so far hasn't done anything wrong, he's just a harsh advisor. Hoping it stays like that and he doesn't start straight-up bullying Ryan because then boy we finna tussle 🥊😤 Poon's character is my favourite so far! So enthusiastic and puts a smile on everyone's faces! The breath of fresh air we all need. Also hoping we can see more of the director who interviewed Ryan and Pie. Man is a legend. Had me rolling on the floor DYING!🤣🤣🤣🤣
