Im a Spanish who felt in love with takashi yoshimatsu's pieces: they have changed my live and have allowed me to explore new sounds. It's so difficult to find information about this composer so im profoundly grateful : thank you for giving us this kind of experiences!
Thank you so much for releasing English subtitles for this video!! This is a priceless interview, so I'm happy to be able to listen to it. I would've learned Japanese just to watch interviews with Takashi Yoshimatsu 😄😄Thank you so much!
I dont love all of Mr yoshimatsu's music... but I can say that his 6th symphony is definitely a top five symphonies of all the time! His piano concerto memo flora and cyber concerto shows that yoshimatsu is a genius. Unfortunately yoshimatsu is not that famous perhaps because he is not a conductor so he does not get enough exposure.. also his music does not get a lot of marketing the way how yiruma's musoc does.. but I consider myself very lucky that I got to know his music and I am feeling blessed to be able to hear this interview... Yoshimatsu is a great artist... he has things that should be told to the whole world... may he live long and keep producing magic!
I am enormously frustrated that there is not more of Takashi Yoshimasu’s music available, especially along the lines of "Kamui Chikap” (Rainbow absolut favourite). Maybe here in Australia, there is less available! Should I go to Japan on a search? “Kamui Chikap” is the only C.D I never get tired of. Is there more coming or are we looking at a retiring artist? If so, who will follow in his footsteps. I listen to the birds for an answer!
