I love how unapologetic he's about his fears! The way he admits he's scared of the dark, and bugs, and horror movies but it doesn't make him less of the 'cool guy' he is :')) he owns his fears!!!

i respect Yibo so much for not being shy and straight up admitting he has fears. a cool guy, who can do anything if he puts his mind into it, has fears of bugs, dark, ghost, which some can call 'childish', but it doesn't bother him. once again Yibo says 'f/ck toxic masculinity' and i'm proud of him. p.s. can we take a moment to appreciate the acting talent Su Lian Ya has? she gives chills every time she performs! and you can't take your eyes off her despite being scared. what a talent!

the irrational fears of the dark and ghosts we mostly leave behind in our childhood. Yibo didn't leave them behind in his childhood because he didn't really have one. He is adorable being afraid of ghosts and darkness. I remember an interview with him and XZ where XZ was teasing him that the TV suddenly will get louder in the middle of the night or it will switch to another channel on its own and Yibo was genuinely afraid. It's a bit sad at the same time tbh. I'm not a psychologist but I'm sure it's something to do with trauma in the past. And the insects phobia I can fully understand; I'm so afraid of spiders that all rational thought leave my head when I see one. Only fight or flight instinct. And the feeling like they are crawling all over your body is so unpleasant. This old DDU episode where they had a crickets and one of them jumped. Yibo jumped so high at that moment, it was so funny and not at the same time. We should not laugh at this. I feel a bit guilty for finding it funny... I have to agree with some of the other comments tho: it takes guts and speaks of strength to admit to having such fears. Yibo is nothing but true to himself in being genuine person. And I admire him all the more because of that.

I really really respect YB A LOT, but can we just talk peacefully about how people makes fun about his fears? Specially the bugs, even if its part of the program, TV show or wathever, I can tell you, is not funny being anxious for something people obliged you to do or act or say, and for me, is there's no fun or cute moments here, just some people trying to play with others fears and that's NOT okay.

He has my empathy. As someone who jumped at the face reveal on HIS screen, totally get it. My friends all prank me routinely by putting on horror when I don't realise it, because apparently me jumping fifteen feet in the air and squeaking is hilarious no matter that I then have nightmares for weeks.

Don't get me wrong, his scared reactions are really cute, but my first instincts would be to protect him. I'm not a huge fan of pranking people with strong fears... I do understand it is funny, but I just don't like doing it. I would be blocking the people bugging him from getting too close, getting rid of the bugs, etc. I don't even like to jump scare people, I guess I am weird. I think it's nice that you show what Yibo is afraid of. I always suffer with him. However, I always get angry when you annoy Yibo with his fears like in the one show where they followed him with the insects. Because that's no longer fun.

Because Yibo has a beautiful light, the complementary is attracted especially during the night when he sleeps. But his brain can't translate what is there and transmit to Yibo the sensation of fear. Who"visits"him most probably looks like insects -from Antares maybe 🤔 Imagine the flies that goes into the light, it's kinda like that 🤗

The cause of this fear maybe on his childhood..We don't know why he really scared of those thing especially darkness but i really think that Something happen when Yibo is still a child that led him scared of the dark,ghost and bug..
