getting lvl 3 vs bm is not the easiest. then defending push seen here with lvl 3 warden is harder than with kotg/dh as takes so much moon juice. then later, one of the first things lvl 5 warden does is peon harass to get lvl 6 ultimate fast. this is much less effective vs burrows. then there is hex + ensnare focus which makes it hard to control. with talons you want to disable heroes/units/get summon frontline. with bear/dryad you want to disable heroes. this is harder with warden than kotg/dh. Moon could make it work against many but not fly/lyn/focus.

Warden is very fragile. Wardens' strength comes from quick mobility in and out of the fight (notice how unholy aura is so strong in WC3? Movement speed is a huge buff at more competitive levels of play). That 'strength' of warden is negated with hex, purge, ensnare, etc. Also, depending on items of blademaster, warden can actually die to 1 hex + ensnare at level 3. Way too fragile to be used. It can be used vs far seer but since you never know whether it's far seer or blade, it's way too big of a gamble to just pick it. Going warden vs blademaster is like... going bloodmage first against blademaster. Can work but odds are, it won't unless opponent really screws up or you get out of the way luck.

To sum up: orc has too many more control skills, better peon protection, higher physical damage to counter warden
