Same for me. This series got me started on c-drama ❤️

This is my favorite drama with this couple but I recently saw The Hospital with Janine Chang and Jerry Yan and she was fabulous in that too. ZhanHan is still my favorite partner for her. Sure lots of sizzling ' I love you, please tell me you feel the same' looks in this drama.

I could not agree more. Both Wen Rou and Linlu are for keeping things from Nuan to help her avoid pain. And that never, never is the solution. They had helped to make the problem worse. I find it heartbreaking that Nanxian, recounts in his mind, many of the cruel things he has said and done to Nuan because he did not know what had happened.

They should tell him that xiao nuan already lost her memory 😒

@@troublemcallister730 she left him for no reason known to him he was hurt too so i think his anger was justified...anytime she experiences any difficulty she runs off which is not fair to him as a relationship is a 2 way thing she just doesn't decide when to end it without consulting him

@@zamu102 - It's been a while since I watched this, but I do remember him treating her like crap , yet every time the SML tried to take her away he'd hook her again and drag her back in. Even when she was trying to be thoughtful about his situation, he would then take it to another level of toxic and usually goes to the SFL . I personally found him horrible and really wanted her to end up with the SML. However, if we all agreed the world would be incredibly boring. LOL! On another note, my daughter is ARMY and the one that got me into BTS music and Kpop in general. She recommended GOT7 and Stray Kids to me and I have to say they are BRILLIANT. So, with GOT7 being a bit spread out right now (understandably given how they were treated by their old company) I want to say congrats on having excellent music taste!

@@zamu102 no it doenst. He does same thing for second female lead what second male lead do for the main female lead. How many time did he let the second female lead evil things and let her get away with all the evil act. It doesnt justify his action

她是一個自私的母親，要兒子顺從自己的意思。最後要求一心不要放棄南弦，這也是自私得很，人的一生有多少個7年，尤其女性，占母憑甚麽提出要一心留下等南弦，真奇怪。

這不合邏輯的劇，第一遍忍耐看完，第二遍用心看，無法理解溫柔憑什麼叫弦離開溫暖，如果是為溫暖好，不是應該撮合弦暖嗎?下次再更用心體會看看。張翰的演技真的太好了，看幾遍都不夠

總括來說，傷害温暖的人第1名是一心和温柔，一心還可以說為了爭取占南弦的爱，但温柔為甚麼?不是我們凡人能理解呀？

His character is quite stern and unfair, but he’s a man and men have egoooossssss!!!

One thing I learned long ago, we women simply do not seem to realize that a man in this relationship is hurting every bit as much as the woman. Both these characters were broken by the breakup and what followed. To a certain degree both are groping in the dark to get back together. She hurts him, without meaning to, just as surely as he hurts her. This is a powerful story. He is not evil. He loves deeply and he is hurting. "Why, why, why?" in his mind, does she not summon the courage to "stand up for their love?" On the other hand, her insistence that she has to make things right between her and his mom means that he no longer has to worry about her getting caught between him and his mom. Two things are interesting in the last visit Wen Nuan has with his mom before she flies to London. 1) She does not go to see his mom in order to get her blessing and fix things in order to get permission to see him. 2) But his mom asks her in; apologizes; plays the tape where Nanzian's dad gives his blessings (as does her dad) to the relationship between Nanzian and Wen Nuan; then tells her where Nanzian is and gives her blessings. We know that the two dad's know about the breakup because in this clip Wen Rou references it. When all is said and done, it appears the the scriptwriters and directors did not want us to see anyone as evil if we understand their motivations. If I were still formally teaching literature, I would find a way to use this series--that is, if I got permission. This is powerful story telling

@@gomomma6649 you are hitting the nail precisely on its head. Rightfully so Nanxian not cruel, hard on Wen Nuan... Oh no... Pure frustration, helplessness, uncertainty about her feelings. He stays faithful, committed, True, and Loyal!!! Not even with a mere glance, click of finger did he " collect women" past 7 years.... Oh no he stayed true to his one and only Love!! Bravo! Script Writer... Brilliant!! AWAITING SEASON 2!!!

@@gs4re749 As I watched this series yet again, I realized that he recounts the ways that he has been seemingly mean to her---because he is unaware of her brokenness. So that is why some of us see him as cruel. I believe even he recognizes this when he finds out that she has forgotten the majority of what happened seven years before.

I do not believe that he ever hates her. There is so much that he does not know. The person he knew and loved before the breakup was a far stronger person than the person with whom he has been reconnecting. He is right to ask her sister why she did not tell him. He would have behaved differently because he does really love her. After all Wen Rou has made appointments with him twice to give him information but never told him that even before she moved to London, Wen Nuan had forgotten a lot of what had happened. Nanxian is not an inconsistent character. Like most of us, he bases his decisions on what he thinks he knows. And there is a lot that he does not know. Because she functions so well in her professional life, he has no reason to believe that she is so broken.

@@myway6503 Thank you. I grew up in a home where great literature and drama were revered. Then, even though my major was music in college, I continued to take a lot of literature classes under great teachers and then found myself teaching writing and literature as well as music. I credit two teachers and my father for my great love of a well told story. And I credit my many former students for getting excited about great story telling and all the great conversation they had with each other and me in class. If we immerse ourselves in great story telling, we learn a lot about ourselves and about those around us. I feel that great story telling encourages us to look at each other and treat each other with greater compassion and love---even when the real people or characters in a story trouble us. We need to find out why.

I hated even more because she and ML mother were keep pushing Linlu and Yi towards the main pair even when both clearly said they want to move on. That’s pure annoying and hurtful to them after that too sacrificed so much.

She saw her older sister confess her love to him and just decided to breakup with him so her sister won't be unhappy seeing them dating. TBH, I thought it was quite illogical and thought there was some deeper reasoning.
